As I see it, this would just force White parents take their kids out of public schools and put them into private schools or they will leave their racially integrated neighborhoods and move to “white neighborhoods” with “better” schools.
Isn’t that exactly what’s been happening overall in the last 50 years? The cities are in ruins thanks to these ‘progressive’ policies.
Don’t count on there being white neighborhoods. It won’t be long before AISD decides to do what Dallas, TX ISD did back in the 70s. DISD decided to bus black students to white neighborhood schools and white students to black neighborhood schools. I was lucky (lucky?) and got to stay the first year of this oh so brilliant plan at my neighborhood school. However, I wouldn’t have been able to return to my 4 houses down the street high school until my Senior year.
Won’t go into all I experienced that year but lets just say my family was part of the white flight before the next school year started.
My old middle class predominantly white neighborhood and school in now solidly black. No surprise there. Found our old house on Zillow and it had been remodeled in a, well, uh, funked out style.
