Im famiare with Randolph. Not a moonbat librat area. Reading the article I get the impression the Board is giving a subtle FU to the cancel culture. As deep blue as much of Jersey is, nobody can say fu in more ways than us.
It won’t be enough.
They can take the holiday names off the calendar, and just call it “day off,” but they are still giving them the day off, right?
The progressives will know that they are still giving the days off for Thanksgiving and Christmas, and the one thing that will always be true about progressives, they gotta keep progressing, otherwise they lose their identity, sense of value, and purpose for being.
They will have to eliminate the breaks on holidays. They will insist that the kids go to school on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, especially.
Doesn’t “Birthing People” discriminate against “People of ‘Choice’”?
And with all our putdowns of Kammie she was ahead of this trend when she couldn’t place what that Memorial Day thing was supposed to be about but liked the long weekend part of it.

Yeah me. I grew up not too far from Plymouth MA and when my sister did our genealogy, she found we have a dozen lines going back to the Mayflower Passengers. Any Christian, especially farmers, should be offended too as it was/is a day to thank the Lord for the year's harvest.
The purpose of the Federal Holidays were to honor a particular event and reflect upon its relevance. Changing them to “Day Off” removes any significance associated with that particular day. In time, this eliminates our culture as we know it, destroys family values and moves people toward a “Government is my God” mentality. The good people of this country need to fight back and fight hard, the end is near.

Morris County, if I remember correctly; we played them in baseball back in my mid sixties high school days...
Randolph High had a much better playing field than we did...
