It seems to me that Australia and Canada are “beta” sites for what the so called “elite” globalists want to do to the rest of us.
Another reason to never, ever accept government-provided healthcare. They'll have a string around your neck that they'll be able to use to enact any sort of tyranny they like:
- Guns are too dangerous, too expensive for healthcare.
- All-plant diet for you; meat causes
- Religious beliefs lead to mental illness, closing down churches
- Right-wing radio zealots incite insurrections and violence...hey, we're just trying to save taxpayers their money!
And so on.
Liberals will cherry-pick police force applicants... that means they will cultivate their OWN army
Under current conditions, if you visit Australia, or even if you are are a returning natural born Australian, you are required to stay 14 days in a "Quarantine Hotel".
It used to be at "State expense",
but now you have to pay $3,000 for a single, or, $5,000 for a couple to stay for the mandated 14 day quarantine.
I believe that the police state scenario only recently enacted under the most recent State Minister (Morrison ?).

I was at a store yesterday, and saw an unmasked cashier. Happily, I asked the cashier "so, they finally let you take those things off?" And she replied "yes....if we are vaccinated."
And then I realized...some people wearing masks in stores - employees or civilians - may be following the guidance to the letter OR may be following corporate policy whereby they must remain masked if they aren't vaxxed. Thus, the masked people aren't necessarily virtue-signaling.
I always despised Mask Karens who lectured the unmasked lot. But I also find the unmasked evangelists who belittle openly the masked "sheeple" to be a particularly loathesome cousin of the Karens.

I work with a mate from down under remotely and they are absolutely freaked out about the virus. They shut down cities and condemn people to their homes at the first sign of a COVID case in the area.
It seems to me that the international governments of the "G-7" community have embraced "The Great Reset" .
Too bad that they never allowed their citizens to vote on the matter.

Apparently, Australia is exposed to the "Delta variant" (India), as well as "Kappa variant".
One of these variants, according to my source, is easily caught by children, and spreads within school systems.

But, Australia has a strong federal system. Stronger federalism than the United States.
South Australia is the most tightly controlled, IMHO.
The least Controls are in Queensland, and, surprisingly, the Northern Territory.
Up here in northern Alberta they’ve tried to pull some fast ones, but we didn’t allow it.
I kicked out some idiot AHS inspector trying to puff his chest out in a local business and intimidate the owner for having coffee maker etc out and available and they don’t wear masks. I just told him I was going to count to three, he leaves on his own or I’d help him. He left. They haven’t been back. There is only one way to deal with bullies. I learned that the hard way in high school.

It’s pushing western Canada into separation, so that part has been good.
I didn’t bother the ladies out there, but if you’re a man wearing a mask around me, one can expect to hear about it. There’s been too much sacrifice and pain and suffering for men just to bow and accept their masters without a whimper. It’s disgusting. Men need to grow a pair and be men. Heck, this would never of even got this far if men were doing their jobs.
I stopped flying. From my home in rural, central Kentucky, I drove to Seattle and back twice, to San-padre island, Texas and back, Chicago and Idaho as well.
It’s time consuming but quite enjoyable. I coulda been a long haul truck driver and liked it.
We’ll be headed to the Phoenix area this winter. We have found the most fun way is to rent a mini-van. We can become pickers as a side gig. You can get a LOT more stuff in a mini-van than in carry-on luggage.
We’ve been to every Hawaiian island, so that’s off the bucket list. To the rest of it we can drive.
What’s comical is that my wife comes from an airline family. She travelled the world on United’s dime. Her brother still works for them and my brother still works for Alaska. But we’re done.
I wouldn’t know about that, so I’ll take your word for it. Don’t really follow politics in Canada.
