Conservative talk show host Dana Loesch is set to replace the late Rush Limbaugh's show in a multiplatform deal with Audacy and Radio America.
Her show will be broadcasted in 11 markets including Kansas City, Las Vegas, Richmond, Wichita, Gainesville, Greenville-Spartanburg, Philadelphia, Austin, Buffalo, St. Louis and Hartford, according to a press release from the companies.
"We're thrilled to partner with Radio America and welcome Dana Loesch to our broadcast and digital platform," Jeff Sottolano, executive vice president of programming for Audacy, said. "Dana is a leading conservative voice and influencer and both her daily live show and future original podcast are terrific additions to our best-in-class news and talk offerings."
Loesch told The Hill in a statement that she is not attempting "to be Rush" who died in February from cancer.

Great. Thank you for that. I will check him out.
Mega-dittoes. That's my story right down the line.
First. There is no replacement for Rush Limbaugh. He was a once in lifetimes and one in millions. Loesch could not carry his water.
Second. Correct. A shrill, harpy opportunist, lightweight and natural born joiner. There has been a reason she was on very late night. Somebody is being woke, correct, diverse or a good friend in putting her in this time slot.
Third. I’ve quite listening to talk radio since Rush passed away. It seems disloyal to his memory and a waste of time to boot.
100% agree...
The longer Rush is gone, the more I appreciate just how SPECIAL he was. There IS no one else that even comes close. I think, I took him for granted. After 32 years of faithful listening, I usually knew what Rush was going to say, even before he said it. He was me... speaking back to me on the radio, daily.
I’ve learned over the years to “Never say Never”. Maybe, one day... another will appear that will be comparable. I haven’t heard anyone yet.
I never thought I would respect an elected Republican again after Trump, but I have to say DeSantis is coming on strong.
President Trump won over many of those NRO never-Trumpers. Just like he did many Cruz supporters. That said, there remain a few dumbasses in the GOP arena.
I feel the same.
We’ve never had another Reagan, but... we’ve had some good people
That was terrible. I hope those elitist republicans are happy with Biden now that he’s destroying our country.
Glenn did a complete 180 especially when Trump moved the embassy to Jerusalem. Glenn has apologized more than once on air about his 2016 pre-election perceptions of Trump. He is a huge supporter now.
I like Dana (nice pic, by the way!) but no one can replace Rush. But there are many who can continue what he did and speak the truth.
Article is awkwardly worded. She is being put into his former timeslot on some affiliates, meaning they are dropping the “EIB Network” - she is not the “replacement” for his show. Travis & Sexton are the new “EIB Network” hosts.
Some did change their mind after the fact. Including me and a number of people here (and some went the other way, ironically...now former opponents of Trump argue with the former supporters...such is the nature of political preferences). Trump had a very long history of attacking conservatives and conservative ideals - including from the stage at one of his earliest rallies in Phoenix - calling for big government healthcare and saying “get used to it, conservatives!” We had every reason to be suspicious he seemingly sudden 180 degree turns on a number of issues were genuine. Turned out they were in most cases.
When? They don't even start until Monday...
LOL...exactly what I was thinking.
I read it a bit differently. Actually Trump’s interviews from 40 years ago are consistent with his current positions. IMO he does not position himself according to any prepackaged POV. He has an internally consistent belief system “MAGA” not strictly conservative but sharing many principles. He has consistently worked to return power to the States and trim Federal interference. His COVID response highlighted the Fed as a resource & the States as in control. He tried to set Americans up for success by getting the G’vt out of the way.
His healthcare plan was for a state established safety net with 50 different labs to test out the solution that worked best for that state. The federal government was to be a resource not control.
Well what I remember is after 2012 he blasted Romney as being too tough on immigration and blamed that on his loss, he continued to be amnesty literally until just before he decided to run for President, and like I said attacked conservatives - by name - from the stage in his earliest rally. And of course abortion. All of that legitimately cast suspicion. I don’t want to totally relitigate all of that in detail because those fears did not end up being the reality of his tenure in office.
You post something like with your screen name as a Bible verse and Bible verse in your tagline?
The abortion angle in particular is well documented as being due to an enlightenment. Trump says that a friend wanted his partner to get an abortion & she refused and now that child means all the world to the man.
I always thought the child was Baron & the man was Trump. People that ignore the possibility of God touching someone’s heart & catalyzing a profound permanent change often have difficulties understanding evolving views.
POTUS Trump does not support & has never supported amnesty in the way you mean. He was willing to work on DACA in return for a comprehensive immigration plan that reflected the interests of Americans. That has been his position for many years before he ran for President.
Maybe the difference in our outlook is that I had never had any information on Trump before he ran, don’t watch TV, don’t stay in hotels much, incurious about the wealthy & famous.
When he became a candidate I did a deep dive to see who he was, looking for evidence that he was pandering, had changed, was being disingenuous. I read all the old articles, watched all the youtube interviews from as early as when he was 30 years old. I found no false notes, no evidence that he was not genuine and acting on long held conviction.
I have not had that experience before. Ted Cruz for example stands up very poorly to that level of scrutiny.
Romney is an ass. He has always been an ass.
I was a physician in Ma as the healthcare system was destroyed and the city hospitals forced out of business.
This is what Trump said about Romney on immigration:
“He had a crazy policy of self-deportation, which was maniacal,” Trump said. “It sounded as bad as it was, and he lost all of the Latino vote ... He lost the Asian vote. He lost everybody who is inspired to come into this country.”
That is a lot more nuanced than being hard on immigration. It is in character for Romney, completely tone deaf, unworkable, lies told to a base that was eager to eat their chosen pap. Romney is above all stupid and immoral so it is the kind of approach he would favor. Trump knows that to get a deal there must be some positives for all sides. Trumps position on immigration has always been that it needs to be based on American interests and take into account the situation on the ground.
There could be no two positions as far apart as Ziden & President Trump’s. Ziden is open border with assisted infiltration of the criminal element. Trump’s is that people who have lived here 10-20 or 40 year and broken no laws other than being here illegally must come out of the shadows, be deported if there were crimes, make some restitution. They might have received permanent resident alien status or been eligible in 10 years for citizenship, those details depended on the deal hammered out. In return America would have had a border, immigration control, criterion for admission that protected American jobs and ended entry of most immigrants who could not pay their way.
Those people are here now, they would never have been deportable. Many of them are doctor, lawyers, business owners with American citizens working for them. Wrongs were done, fraud, graft, political greed was satisfied but not by Trump. A solution was in hand, not a Regan, kick it down the road solution, but a real solution. The corrupt congress critters wouldn’t go against their corporate patrons.
