I am not sure at all how both of you completely misunderstood such a simple comment. Let me try to put this in simple words.

America as we knew it is gone. The Democrats staged a bloodless coup and took over the country. That means we are living under tyranny.

And if it takes a bloody coup to retake America, then I’m all for it. I’d like to think that we could hold elections to restore America, but after what we saw in 2020, that seems very unlikely.

Inactive = gadfly for the “coup regime”. Take a chance that brought back as active status General he could become the leader of the counter coup they fear even if his recalled position in the hierarchy does not include a direct command position.

You are correct. The reason I speak of how the Democrats staged a successful coup lies in part with these patriots being held as political prisoners.

Something more than a peaceful protest was needed to stop the coup. Had Trump invoked the Insurrection Act, and called forth the militias, I would have been in D.C. on Jan. 6th. I wasn't showing up for a mere political rally. Trump does owe those people more support than he's given them thus far. Trump's weakness is that he is overly concerned with PR rather than action. Sometimes people need to just do the right thing, and let the chips fall where they may.

The only time the military should intervene is if we have run out of all possible legal options for present and future elections.
That means, despite what happened, if it was impossible to fix at the state level and 100% of the population voted, but the election was predetermined anyway.

Military service members all take an oath to defend the U.S. against all enemies, foreign and domestic. If the courts are incapable of protecting the U.S. from domestic enemies working for foreign governments, who is left to do the job?
