Yamina leader Naftali Bennett agreed to forming a coalition government with Yesh Atid head Yair Lapid, N12 reported. The two sides agreed that Bennett will serve first as prime minister until September 2023, when Lapid will take over until November 2025, according to N12. The swearing-in ceremony is expected to take place in 10 days, following an announcement of the new government either on Saturday night or Sunday.

“This looks like an appeasement government which will help Team Biden and Iran to move toward the final solution of eliminating those troublesome Jews from the Muslim march to the sea. Netanyahu will now be persecuted and prosecuted much like President Trump.”
ours:
hopefully not but yes, if Israel gets even one year of a JINO or erev rav (enemy within) Quisling type government, the Jews will indeed be set up for the slaughter
This is the Kiss of Death for Israel. Bibi has been sold out by corrupt politicians who will take Israel down a dark path toward war with Pali’s and/or other Arab countries. And the U.S. under Biden won’t lift a finger to help Israel.
The corrupt liberals in Israel, just like here in the USA, will go after Bibi, so very soon to be out of office, tooth and tong to get him convicted of phony trumped up (pardon the pun) charges, just like the socialists are doing to Donald Trump in this country. The liberals in both Israel and the USA won’t be happy until they see their enemies in jail, and that includes any one of us Conservatives who might dare to voice public dissatisfaction with the socialist regime.
Civil War is going to come sooner than later here in the good old USA.
This is where all those chain linked elections have been leading up to. Both sides have wanted Bibi out for at least the last three years. I’m thankful he wasn’t just killed by those impatient for the change.
Well, even the American president Roosevelt ‘only’ served
for four terms. After that, rules were made to prevent a reoccurance.
The surrender monkey surrender and soon the actual monkeys will be raping their daughters. Good job
Wow. I thought Naftali Bennet liked Israel. Wrong again.
Hamas is already ready
This new coalition won’t roll over for Hamas trust me
The early Hagganah and Ergun were mostly far left socialists but they fought
The Israeli left is not strictly peaceniks
Golda Mier was labor
Rabin former commando labor
Is Likud harder on palis....yes
Is their labor like our left on terrorists......not even close
Labor and Likud differ on domestic far more than on war
The Great Reset in Action.
Ping!
That is reassuring to hear
Biden must appoint Stacey Abrams Ambassador to Israel or the struggle is over and white supremacy wins.
Winner winner, kosher dinner.
You have to understand this is Free Republic
Always been like this
Hearts in the right place here with most
But they read headlines and maintain dilettante knowledge
Rah rah sound bites rule here
Like I said they mean well
But knowledge is thin.....it’s like why bother and if you veer from the simple narrative prepare for scorching ..lol...I could spend all day here everyday trying to inform folks more detail but it’s resisted and often erroneously considered heresy especially anything about Israel ..lol
Labor etc is not going to roll over and surrender to Hamas....
It’s ridiculous to think so.....
I think Israel’s two big wars were under labor governments as was its inception under far left rebels like Hagganah and less lefty Ergun...both of which produced heroes by an definition ...of the birth of Israel ..lefties too
The Lebanon invasion which was about as fruitful as our Iraq war was Likud.efforts ....Begin and Ariel...man that got messy...
So there is that too..
Btw.....conservative in Israel ...Likud ....is not very right wing by our standards....like Boris or Aussie conservatives....moderates they would be here..
This is a speech...not directed at u ma’am
Anyone here can read the history of Israel...
I have the benefit of having worked there ....
Israel labor left coalition will not roll over for terrorism anymore than Golda Mier did or Ben Gurion
Both of the left
That is true too
It’s very sticky
Thank u
You and remember
Bibi pep rally here seems to have shirt memory
After all Trump did for Israel
I mean really...what an ingrate
They have been trying to get rid of Netenyahu for years, before Trump or Biden. He is the longest serving PM in their history. If you recall they got rid of him once before and he came back. This new coalition is fragile, hence the power sharing arrangement. The coalition could very easily collapse at any moment. One false step and it will fracture followed by a no confidence vote and new elections. I cannot imagine why would Netanyahu even want to be PM again. He has served his country honorably his entire life, in the military and as a politician. He is their Churchill, but like Trump he is a political lighting rod. Politically, Likud still controls a large majority of seats in the Knesset so it is likely the coalition will face some gridlock. After the rocket attacks, any attempt to appease Hamas will not pass the Knesset and will likely cause the coalition to fracture. Israel is not in a good place politically at the moment. I do not think a Biden endorsement will be as welcome as some believe. Trump is popular in Israel, Biden is seen as pro-Iran. Theoretically Israel is not divided politically like the USA. I believe the Likud fell short of a majority by just a handful votes. Next election without Netenyahu as the PM, Likud could win an outright majority.
I personally believe secularism is a problem for Israel. Modern Israeli’s seem to make a point of telling people the are of Jewish ancestry but they are Israelis, not Jews. I am sure the Islamist give a rats a$$ over that distinction. They are not as woke as in the USA, but they are not the of the same stock as the people who founded the State of Israel and fought against overwhelming odds to keep and build a Jewish State. They are vulnerable and do need a strong leader, not a power sharing coalition of appeasers.
He’ll be back. Problem is that they will turn to him out of despair.
