All over the world, countries are confronting population stagnation and a fertility bust, a dizzying reversal unmatched in recorded history that will make first-birthday parties a rarer sight than funerals, and empty homes a common eyesore....

...Like an avalanche, the demographic forces — pushing toward more deaths than births — seem to be expanding and accelerating. Yes and no. The Hispanic migration to the US is unprecedented in terms of numbers and rapidity. Assimilation is a problem due to adjacency and technology. You can maintain your roots while living in the US. Samuel Huntington, the eminent Harvard historian, made the case for why this persistent, massive Hispanic immigration presents a huge challenge to this country. A must read for anyone seriously interested in what is really happening in an historical context.

The Hispanic Challenge-- The persistent inflow of Hispanic immigrants threatens to divide the United States into two peoples, two cultures, and two languages. Unlike past immigrant groups, Mexicans and other Latinos have not assimilated into mainstream U.S. culture, forming instead their own political and linguistic enclaves -- from Los Angeles to Miami -- and rejecting the Anglo-Protestant values that built the American dream. The United States ignores this challenge at its peril.

The country of Georgia provides an example of how to reverse this problem - by embracing a pro-life religious values.

They raised their birth rate, and more importantly, did so with more 3rd and 4th children WITHOUT more illegitimacy.
