Democrats have been flogging the image of Kamala Harris for more than six months, trying to show Americans why she should be popular, and the public isn’t buying it.
The efforts and the expectations of success by Democrats say a lot about the party and their myopic view of the voters, which has cost them dearly during the last three national elections. A party that tells most voters they’re “racist” and says those same ordinary people must be cleansed of their “systemic racism” and delusions of “white supremacy” shouldn’t have to wonder why people don’t like them very much.
But the Democrats keep doubling down — as they did with Harris. The vice president is among the most unpopular vice presidents in modern history and, true to form, Democrats can’t figure out why on earth that might be true.
A recent YouGov poll revealed that Harris’s net approval rating is ten points underwater among all voters and 25 points underwater among independents, 44 percent of whom say they have a “very unfavorable” opinion of the vice president.

If she was pushing 3 points, she was probably around 0 in real life
I recall they were pushing her to be the nominee five or six months into the Trump administration and my impression was then “Imagine in 1981 the media already talking about Gary Hart or Walter Mondale against Reagan”.
Didn't matter, she was the only woman of color they had to choose from. You see they make decisions on race and sex, not competence or ability. So they end up with the most unlikeable incompetent VP in history.

Dems are evil, and they are cunning. They knew what Harris was, and they know she is as likable as herpes.
Dems enjoy forcing that type of person into a position of power. Harris’ popularity can’t go down because she has no popularity. That frees her to do horrible things without fear of losing support.

What’s to like about this woman?
She’s not very smart, not very likable, and has basically slept her way into office.
People saw what an ass she was during the debates. Arrogant, self absorbed...I could go on.
During the campaign, Kamala had a rally in the Democrat stronghold of Las Vegas, and nobody showed up.
The forced laugh cackling is faked, it’s grating, and it’s historically annoying. It makes her look even more insincere than she actually is.
Democrats should have concern. If events many of expect come to pass, she will be their presidential nominee in 2024.
She presents an unlikable arrogant liberal persona. Peoplemcringe at her annoying cackle when serious subjects are being discussed. We aren’t supposed to say such things, due to fears of being called racist and sexist and whatever else. But lots of people think that privately, hence her poor poll numbers.
She’s Nancy Pelosi in blackface, but her Communist party mates can’t figure why she’s unpopular?! Nah, not buying it.

Kamala dropped out of the race at the same time as such popular and notable figures as Joe Sestak and Steve Bullock. So close!
