“It’s a girl, my Lord, in a flat-bed Ford slowin’ down to take a look at me.”
Jackson Browne started the song Take it Easy but was stuck in a few places. He played it for Glenn Frey and Frey supposedly improvised the famous line on the spot — “It’s a girl, my Lord, in a flat-bed Ford slowin’ down to take a look at me.”
The details are a bit in dispute on what happened next but the end result was the Eagles finished and arranged the song. Jackson Browne loved the arrangement and final product.

Speedway at Nazareth - Mark Knopfler (with Emmylou Harris)
This tune is one of Knopfler's story-songs about Formula car racing. Always nice to see Mark take his '58 Les Paul out and really stretch its legs.

As an aside from, I went to Asbury Park 3 times, back in the 80s and drove all the streets and visited all the places named in the songs.
