A four-year-old boy was found stabbed to death on a Dallas street after he was allegedly abducted from his bed by a teen now facing charges for kidnapping.
A jogger came across the body of Cash Gernon in the city's Mountain Creek neighborhood at around 7am Saturday, Assistant Police Chief Albert Martinez said, adding that it appeared the child suffered a violent death from an 'edged weapon'.
Darriynn Brown, 18, was arrested in the case hours later and was charged with kidnapping and theft. Police said they also anticipate additional charges pending the results of a forensic analysis.

Brown is the perp, not the victim. His step father refused comment.

The child was identified in court records as Cash Gernon. He and his twin brother were staying in the home in the 7500 block of Florina Parkway with his father’s girlfriend, Monica Sherrod, in the Mountain Creek area of Dallas, police said.
The father, who police did not name, has been absent since March, police said. Cash’s biological mother and grandmother had been looking for Cash and his twin, who is now reunited with them. Their mother believed the boys were with their dad and did not know the father had left them with Sherrod,

Kameron Mori, 18, lives at the address where Cash was taken and said he was Cash’s brother. He said Cash was a happy boy who loved superheroes. He used to pretend to be Iron Man and use his arms to send imaginary energy rays just like Tony Stark.
He said his mother won’t stop crying and his brothers and sisters don’t know what to do.
”I’m already cried out,” Mori said.
Mori said the family will host a memorial balloon launch Sunday at 6 p.m. at Park in the Woods near Mountain Creek Parkway and Wheatland Road.
Mori said he knew Brown from Duncanville High School and middle school. He said they had been friends.
”Friends ain’t nothing,” he said outside his home Monday, just a few blocks from where Brown lived and where Cash’s body was found. “Evil. No reason. Literally, no reason.”
If this was my child, the son of bitch would never make it to trial............I’d find a way.
“It was only a life time ago where if someone went in and murdered someone’s little kid in this type of horrific act, they’d been hunted down by family/neighbors and quickly disposed.”
Still happens in Louisiana. What goes in the Atchafalaya Basin, stays in the Atchafalaya Basin (though fragments that the gators missed might eventually end up in the Gulf of Mexico).
after he was allegedly abducted from his bed by a teen now facing charges for kidnappingHere's where wokist grammar and modern syntax gets stupid:
Yeah. A whole hell of a lot more.
That would not surprise me at all. I had not thought about that. But you may be on to something.
At least.
How would you know?
What will happen to the judge that didn’t lock this pos up?
He is probably out there running the streets getting ready to shoot someone else.
Because of one of the syntactical errors in the Constitution. “Cruel and unusual” should have been “unnecessarily cruel and disproportionate.”
Oh that can’t be true.
Everyone knows ankle monitors stop all crime.

Just a P.S. to my reply. The boy was reported missing 4 hours after his body was found. Apparently he was taken from his bed sound asleep around 5 in the morning. According to one statement I read (from M. Sherrod) Brown “barged” in and took Cash. This was caught on security camera.
Cash was 4 years old. How does somebody barge into a house in the predawn hours take sleeping child without the child waking up or the others hearing the commotion? Barging would imply a certain amount of noise. Something really stinks here.
Teen. Another case where we can see the perp’s age but not what Darriyan looks like,
Seems there is a lot that hides behind the syntactical errors.
I guess they meant well.
A lot can get lost in the Trinity River drainage downstream of the sewer plant.
What’s the story with the two people claiming to be mom? And one twin is in state custody? I’m confused.
Reading about criminals and prison.....and it’s pretty much known even without reading.
