With all of the Chinese espionage in academia and medical centers in America, it makes little different WHERE such risky research was being done and still little defense of WHY we were funding it.
Saying it over and over doesn’t somehow make it come true.

Fauci....maybe a couple months later said to open the windows...install a certain filter on you HVAC system. Guess he never heard about efficiency of these systems.

What I would like to see these "scientists" do is show us tables of data they have collected, and graph that out in some fashion, and point to some spot on the graph, referencing data in the table and make the declaration: "Here! This right here! This gives us the confidence that as of May 13, it is now safe to go outside without a mask. We have reached the moment we have been waiting for, and I am happy to make the announcement."
But, of course, no such thing is possible. It's all arbitrary and not really based on data or science. Some bureaucrat at a desk just woke up and said, "People are antsy. Let's tell 'em they can go outside."
That's as scientific as any of this crap.
There it is again, Fauci, living in the heads of conspiracy theorist television viewers, who believe that he’s some kind of big boss. I wouldn’t even see anything about him, if it weren’t for the headlines posted from obsession. ;D

I, for one, have never worn a mask outside and I sure as hell don’t need Fauci’s approval to continue to NOT wear a mask outside or anywhere else.
I’m sorry to hear about your friend. I hope s/he recovers and resumes normal life.
I am hot stinking mad that we (government, media, medical establishment) hasn’t put much of any effort into researching treatments. In fact they have done a lot to subvert such research. It’s all about “vaccines”. Which may or may not be fine for most people but doesn’t do anything for people like your friend. And the millions others around the world who did, are or will be suffering the same.
I’m sure all of use were waiting with baited breath on this pronouncement. Where would we be without the genius of Anthony Fauci?
He will change his mind when he gets his next interview. It is his ability not to be pinned down that keeps him relevant. You might say it is his superpower.
