We stayed below $2.00 a gallon most of the time in my small town the whole time President Trump was in office. The price bumped up for holidays but that was the stations price gouging. Most of last summer we were $1.85-$2.00.

Not us- we stayed right around $2:30 the whole time- the gas stations liked to play games and drop it a few cents every now and again, but it’d go right back yup after a few days- We never got down to $2.00 or below :(

I was trying to be polite. Asheville is the ONLY place I was ‘dressed down’ for not wearing a mask (a pet shop, for crying out loud)...so needless to say; they are NOT on my Christmas list. :-)

Demand is spiked by rumors of shortage.
If half the local vehicle fleet goes from 50% full to topped off, that’s a lot of fuel pumped in a short time.

We are a very small town with a town Facebook page. If a station went up too much the whole population of the town was on there screaming at them. The station would lower it back down.
