I would love a COVID-19 vaccine passport. After more than a year in full or partial quarantine, I’m so happy to be vaccinated I want to get the words “FULLY” and “VAXXED” tattooed on my butt and run naked through the streets. (Don’t worry, I won’t. America has suffered enough.)
Unfortunately … sorry, that’s a side effect of the Pfizer vaccine … unfortunately, vaccine pride is not as prevalent as it should be, and a sizable swath of the population prefers to poo-poo the one thing that can lead us out of a pandemic that has killed more than 550,000 Americans.

And on that point, we most definitely are not pulling together “as one people to a common goal.” A Monmouth University poll released April 14 found 43% of Republicans say they’re unlikely to get the vaccine. That contributes heavily to the 1 in 5 Americans overall who say they won’t get vaccinated.
....The hesitant-to-get-vaccinated are also up in arms over the idea of a vaccine passport, I guess because of “tyranny” or some other incorrect but scary sounding word... but the vaccine-wary could keep us from reaching herd immunity and increase the risk of weird, dangerous COVID-19 mutations. Without enough vaccinations, we can’t breathe easy and swim out of the undertow of stress that sucked us down more than a year ago.
The good news is I have a plan that should appeal to folks fearful of a vaccine or vaccine passports...So instead of providing vaccine passports to people who get the Pfizer or Moderna or Johnson & Johnson shots, let’s just issue mandatory “I’M SELFISH!” T-shirts to those who refuse.

In Illinois (and most states), Blacks are undervaccinated compared to their percentage of the population, Whites are overvaccinated.
If people won't get vaccinated, they aren't going to wear a silly shirt. If they won't get vaccinated, perhaps he should think about (and write about) WHY they won't get vaccinated.

Make no mistake, even vaccine mandates won't satiate these ghouls.

What if the Bidet Admin finds the vaccines faulty, because ya know Trump and all that? Then the vaxxes will need to be reconstituted and everyone needs to be revaxxed with the Bidet vax.
Or there can be new strains, or some new fakery, or whatever. The insatiable demand for power isn't about to be quenched.
I wrote elsewhere, that the statist Lucys keep pulling the footballs. I have zero hope/belief/expectation that we will be "back to normal" in a free and open society by the fall.

“Zero out your carbon footprint and save your planet. If you do not do it you are selfish.”

Freedom, personal liberty, exercising Constitutional rights, and demanding answerable officials- all selfish. Lemmings aren’t selfish. Be more like them.
How about “I’M STUPID” shirts for those who got these experimental injections? They aren’t truly “vaccines”, because the government itself admits you can still catch and transmit the virus if you’re fully “vaccinated”.
Again, if someone got the shot, how is my not getting it selfish since they are protected by their shot, right?

I’ve heard a concern that unless everyone gets vaccinated, the virus will mutate, and then the vaccine will not work.

I think that is really what is at issue.
I don’t believe this is so bad of a virus that this level of paranoia and panic is warranted. People are disproportionately scared because of the constant fear porn.
As far as I’m concerned, there are many diseases that cause death particularly in old people. Just add this to the list. If you’re older you may want to consider the vaccine. To demand that young people get it is insanity.
So for many people whom can see through the hysteria and look at the reality around us, with over a years worth of data, it just doesn’t live up to the headlines. So no, why risk it?
My body my choice. If you’re scared take the vaccine, then you’re covered, why do you care if I don’t as I’m only part of a group that would rather not and risk just living?
At this point, I don’t see any proof it’s even a vaccine.

Political hatred, not safety, is what is driving this entire government compliance mentality on the Left.
I am 100% sure that if Republicans were the ones pushing for vaccines, this a-hole would be taking the exact opposite position.
And everyone else wears a “I’m a human guinea pig” t-shirt?
