Chinese scientists have been preparing for a Third World War fought with biological and genetic weapons including coronavirus for the last six years, according to a document obtained by US investigators.
The bombshell paper insists they will be 'the core weapon for victory' in such a conflict, even outlining the perfect conditions to release a bioweapon, and documenting the impact it would have on 'the enemy's medical system'.

Having seen how the west reacted to the WuFlu, I can’t imagine the death and destruction of a similarly contagious bioengineered virus with say a mortality rate of 5% would do.

I’ve said from day one this virus was intentionally created and released by China, they have no reservations at all about biological warfare, the CCP has killed at least 70 million of their own people, why should they care how many of the rest of the world (the enemy) they kill?
They don’t care if biological warfare is a violation of the Geneva Convention, or international law. They are already waging chemical warfare too, in the form of fentanyl. Fentanyl only comes from China. I read an article not long ago claiming that they are now sending the components to Mexico and it’s being manufactured there, don’t know if it’s true or not. I do know it’s being sent across our now open border daily, we can expect an even bigger fentanyl crisis in the next 2 years.
I’ve also thought of the same thing you said, this is just a trial run for something bigger, maybe something already in their tool bag but not released yet...YET...

In fact, there is strong confidence now that the SARS-CoV-2 virus responsible for the COVID-19 epidemic is not a bio-weapon - we know the full genetic sequence of the virus and scientists have compared that sequence with earlier coronavirus viruses that have infected man (SARS and MERS) as well as those that are common in animals found in the region. Based upon these analyses, the scientists concluded that it had little in common with the SARS and MERS virus and was most similar to a virus found in a bat species found in the region. They then concluded that the SARS-CoV-2 was the result of natural mutations rather than a deliberate genetic engineering of a virus that was known prior to infect humans.

Genetic weapons is the horror. They are trying to find a way to biologically attack by race/DNA with the aim of eliminated all but Han Chinese ... and you thought Covid was evil ...
Covid may have been a test not of the efficacy of some pathogen, but of speed of infection worldwide.
The real infection will come through use of specifically designed genetic weapons aimed at killing off all other races but Han Chinese.
...unless there were enough money in it for themselves, of course.

The real eye opener I got about China and the Chinese was reading the account of General Stillwell in China during his WWII experience there and his efforts to help Chang Kai Chek and Madam Chang Kai Chek.
They were two of the most greedy, grasping, dishonest and self centered-people I ever heard of.
For the Chinese, honor and honesty are wholly incidental. Also, and even in this day and age, ‘losing face’ is to be avoided at ALL costs.
There are two different Nobel Laureates in Medicine (Luc Montaigner, who co-discovered HIV, and David Baltimore, former President of Cal Tech) who say it was bioengineered on technical grounds.
Here's a recent article, who quotes Baltimore calling some of this information "a smoking gun."
