By the way — As much as I would like to praise President Trump for Operation Warp Speed, the reality is that not everything he pushed to success has really turned out so well. That’s not his fault. He wasn’t in the lab mixing up the chemicals. He pushed the effort, people got hired, bureaucrats steered the effort, and it produced results.
Trump chose Bill Barr to run DOJ, he left Wray in charge of the FBI, he put three people on the Supreme Court. You can kick off a sincere effort to deliver quality outcomes, but the people who are doing the actual work can sometimes go in their own direction.

I’m Libertarian when it comes to the “vaccine” (it isn’t). If someone wants to inject God-knows-what not-approved serum into their own veins, have at it. I makes no sense to me, but ... whatever.
Just don’t criticize ME for not doing that.

I am receiving my second Moderna next week. So far no issues.
Unless it becomes mandatory and is forced upon us by the government under some draconian law, I am free to choose and I choose not to get the vaccine. That should be enough.

My wife and I will wait for 5 to 7 years out to see what the long term effects of the vaccine are. I get the yearly flu shot and received my second Shingles vaccine last year after the Covid came along so I’m not afraid of vaccines, just unproven ones.
My wife is a school teacher and she’s being harassed by another teacher because she doesn’t care to get the shot.
Short answer: Derek does not want to be killed or crippled by the ‘cure’ for a scamdemic virus.
