On Tuesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “11th Hour,” host Brian Williams discussed the fatal police shooting of Ma’Khia Bryant in Columbus, OH and said that while a knife is visible in the body camera footage of the shooting, the officer “fired his weapon” and there was not any “attempt to use pepper spray or a taser, non-lethal force.”

Now, now, they were just having a little fun. Cops should have axed the nicely to take 5.
I’m surprised Williams didn’t say the cops should have shot the knife out of her hand...
“land-whale”
Ghettopotamus
Everyone in America should be forced to watch the videos of police involved shootings posted on the Civilian Office of Police Accountability page (Chicago). Go to the dashboard and look at the cases, then watch the body cam videos.
There was a police involved shooting in August 2020 of a huge HUGE guy with a big knife who was stabbing a police officer. I will have nightmares about this guy. They tazed him and he got right up, ran up to the cop and commenced with the stabbing.
Now you tell me why police shouldn’t use deadly force in these situations they probably encounter almost every day.
Thank you.
When you slow down video you do not see that time makes a difference....
Another second and the knife would have been in its target..
Maybe these politicians could just block of areas of there cities and say the police will not go there...and see what happens..just let the criminals kill each other...
Another rocket scientist interjecting itself into a subject it knows nothing about.
By the time they used non-lethal force, you idiots, the deceased would have used LETHAL force to kill the girl in pink. And did anyone catch the man kicking the other girl in the HEAD with his shoe? Like that wasn’t potentially lethal? Take all this racist, BLM crap and shove it.
These people are idiots... absolute idiots.
Shoot ‘em in the leg. /s
Deploy “the vaporizer”. No EMTs needed. No cleanup. No autopsy. No forensics. Saves on prison/jail space.
“Clean” streets.
After watching that video, I have an almost uncontrollable desire to bit** slap Juan.
You can’t take him seriously.
Couch potatoes evidently did not watch the whole video in real time. Things were happening so fast that I’m amazed the the officer spotted the blade and reacted fast enough to save the intended victim. In slow motion you can see that it was a 4 to 6 inch blade and was moving in for a belly stab.

She was definitely moving in for the plunge. Her whole body was in position going forward with intent to cause serious injury or death. Also the dude who kicked the downed girl in the head should definitely be arrested. IMHO!
Somehow the cop does see it and manages to get... I think four shots all on target without hitting the girl in pink. Dude deserves a medal and a parade, and a paid for house and lifetime pension, right now.
The media, BurnLootMurder, and that ******g idiot millionaire LeBron James and those like him actually want a race war...
OHIO PING!
Please let me know if you want on or off the Ohio Ping list.

So is a lead pipe, hammer, baseball bat or any other instrument capable of causing, instantaneously, great bodily harm or death.
And in all of those cases, use of lethal force on the perpetrator should be, and used to be, justified.
Fuck you Brian Williams. Someone ought to take a Louisville Slugger to you and break multiple bones.
People who think a 6 inch knife is not lethal should line up to do a knife test. The placebo group will be random. People who choose to not to participate will be excused. How many subjects remain? Simple math. How many can get the answer right?
