"The drone, called Ingenuity, was airborne for less than a minute, but it is the first powered, controlled flight by an aircraft on another world.
Ingenuity was carried to Mars in the belly of Nasa's Perseverance Rover, which touched down on the Red Planet in February.
This successful attempt means that a further four flights will be attempted over the coming days, each one taking the helicopter further afield.
This is how conspiracies start.

Completely disappears and no one says anything at all. They just cheer at the empty screen and keep talking. No attempt at recognizing or explaining. Seems odd.

This sounds right up Richard Hoagland’s alley.
He is the guy who claims there were (maybe still are) advanced civilizations on Mars (and the Moon for that matter).
It did look like someone attempted to restart the program. "A" for effort.
Low speed/low gain live data feed from Mars (like 1 frame every sec. or less w/dropped frames on top of it)...higher frame rate/higer res. video/photos get downloaded slowly later. No reason for a “conspiracy theory”...but that won’t stop some with too much time on their hands!! ;-)
I get the significance of the accomplishment, but get the
celebrating done with and then try to get back to the science
of it.
I don’t need to be sold on the program.
Seems like more of a ‘hard sell’ than a presentation of the
video of craft.
I’ll admit, I stopped watching five minutes in or less.
They need to teach these people how to do an interesting
presentation.

Not saying it is but has that look.
I totally “get” that receiving any video from Mars at all is amazing. Glitches will occur. I don’t actually see this as a conspiracy sort of thing. But I do get frustrated when professional scientists and engineers SEE the glitch and don’t even pause to say, “Simple glitch. You know, getting any video from Mars at all is amazing. Glitches will occur.” These people just cheered and cheered and cheered and seemed to expect that no one would notice the glitch.
Seems really emblematic of the times we live in — ignore what your eyes tell you: just believe the story that I am telling you.
This is great.
It means Bezos can have deliveries up and running for the Mars colonies right away!

Must give a mention at the 3:30 mark, where the lady is ripping up what appears a copy of Trump's SOTU speech.
Martians are now filing reports of seeing UFOs.
It drops out of sight of the camera from one image to the next.
The Martians asked the helo to take them to its leader.
Now that the Martians have been ignored they are ready for war.
(Of course the helo was embarrassed to admit that the “leader” was a urine soaked vegetable.)

At least they didn’t have to wait for a clear R/C frequency.
The Martians should have said “Lead me to your taker!”
