In an “Only In LA” moment, police were searching Friday for two suspects who fired real shots near the set of the television cop show “The Rookie” in Los Angeles.
The shooting was reported about 2:55 p.m. Thursday in the area of Hartford Avenue and West Fifth Street near Los Angeles Center Studios, where crews were filming the ABC series with actors portraying real cops, said Officer William Cooper of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations division.

Fake news was sent to the scene to report on the incident...
Owwwww. So, NOT the usual “NON-scary” shots then? Fidiots!
Can’t wait for their version.
No need to. The suspects are white Christian Trump supporters who hate blacks, asians, jews, gays and gun control advocates.
Actors? Who cares?
I liked the 2-3 episodes I watched of this show. But after season one, “the Rookie” should is no longer a rookie
Two aren’t, but the lead character screwed up so he can’t forward for another I think they said 6 month. Pretty good show. They have to have the obligatory gay cop, but overall worth watching.
It went total BLM/Anti-Cop by episode 3 this season and was summarily removed from the DVR.
Umm... that's not true. We just watched Sunday's episode last night. Nathan Fillion's character is def. still a rookie.
The Rookie was a very well-made cop show - Season 1 and 2 were VERY good, but this current season is much to “woke” for my liking. Too much BLM apologist/and feminist. They try to balance it a bit, but I’m close to abandoning it for this reason, even though I really like the characters overall.
I remember “The Rookies” from the 70s, is this a remake of it?
Who called the cops?
He’s white. Can’t expect as much from him as they do the female rookie or the homo rookie.
Nathan is the only reason we watch the show.
We met him at a dragoncon or two way back.
He seems like a decent person.
‘Firefly’ has given me so many hours of entertainment. All of the characters were so interesting, and you can’t beat the theme song. ;)
I probably should watch all of that ‘writer’ show he was on, but I disliked the lead female character/love interest so much, it was unwatchable for me. She had as much acting talent as a wooden spoon!
And, No. I wasn’t just JEALOUS, LOL!
Castle was good for the first few seasons but ran out of juice.
You’ve seen Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog, haven’t you? He looked like he was having fun in that.
I haven’t. I’ll look for it, Thanks!
