Democrats in both the House and Senate are reportedly constructing legislation to be released on Thursday to pack the Supreme Court, adding four justices.
The Intercept reported, “The bill would add four seats to the high court, bringing the total to 13, from the current 9. The number of justices on the Court has fluctuated widely throughout the course of the nation’s history. Republicans currently hold 6 seats, while Democrats hold just 3 after the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg and the quick confirmation of Justice Amy Coney Barrett.”
The bill is reportedly being led by Rep. Jerry Nadler, Rep. Hank Johnson, and Rep. Mondair Jones in the house. In the Senate, it is being led by Sen. Ed Markey.
Just saw this on twitter:
“ House Judiciary Democrats just voted against keeping the Supreme Court at 9.
They want to pack the court.”
They will end (or suspend) the filibuster to jam this (and the confirmations of four commies) through, probably in some late night session.
Then HR1 can survive judicial review, and elections can be rigged with impunity.
Ball game - effectively a One Party State.
Why bother?
Deep State already controls the SCOTUS.
Unless this is just a dog and pony show for a base dumb enough to buy it...
Maybe Manchin is just holding out for a bigger payoff?
Total control of the US Government is worth a lot. It is the chance of a lifetime to cash in.
Wonder how many GOPee backstabbing cowards will go along with this stupid idea?
Let’s be clear we don’t need a new party. /sarc
“the Democrats...have no concern whatsoever what the public thinks about their actions...none at all.”
Yes, this is correct. They think having the media cover for them is sufficient.
“ It was probably Woodrow Wilson.”
You make a valid point.
The schemes and dreams of FDR are “ON” again!

I just heard Stuart Varney state that Princess Peloisi has announced that she will not bring Nadler’s bill to the floor. She will wait until Bitenden’s commission makes it report.
That could be a relief. Something like this could very well up in civil war for real.
Journalists and reporters today are quite obviously political activist for the Left and the globalist elites. They prove they are eager participants in stirring up unrest, chaos and conflict on the streets of this country.
Rebelling and denying the LORD, turning away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering lies from the heart. .....So justice is turned away, and righteousness stands at a distance. For truth has stumbled in the public square, and honesty cannot enter. ....Truth is missing!....Just as it is written in Is:59:14
Pelosi rembmered she was an American... she’s not going to take the commie bait.
“Journalists and reporters today are quite obviously political activist for the Left... “
Yes, I mean they get more naked about it every day. They are almost as naked as a Canadian MP (did you see that one? The guy was stark staring naked on the zoom “question time” and yes he’s Labor or whatever they are called up there._
Did you see how the REPORTERS were yelling at the mayor or police chief in Brooklyn Center, MN? He’s telling them about the riot, and they’re yelling “there was no riot”. Which is quite astonishing, since there was clearly a riot.
They can’t hide their stupidity as it’s so pervasive throughout their riots. Both the Press and the participants.
Excuse me. Like nobody makes a mistake.
“Like we ever had the courts. Stop living in fantasy land.”
The jury’s out on the courts, so far for me. I may wind up agreeing with you...but not yet. As to the election, it was over once the Republicans sided with the Democrats...neither the Supreme Court, nor Pence, was going to save us - instead we needed pretty much the entire GOP to make a stand, and instead we got virtually no one siding with Trump. The courts weren’t going to do the job of the GOP.
So I wait...
