A just-released mugshot of Kim Potter — the former Minnesota cop who fatally shot Daunte Wright after mistaking her gun for her Taser — shows the 26-year veteran looking bare-faced and solemn.
Potter is cooling her heels Wednesday at the Hennepin County Jail, where she’s being held without bail pending second-degree manslaughter charges in the death of Wright.

She has the benefit of being a woman and probably not having to constantly watch her back for raping/shivving. There could still be screaming all night every night though. Instead of mental hospitals everyone tends to get thrown into prison now.
And in DC, the officer who shot an unarmed, civilian that had no warrants ... remains unnamed, and stil on the job.
..........................................
Absolutely disgraceful and sets an example for other trigger-happy “law” officers to do the same!
You got nothing.
Sounds like you didn’t want your beloved Pelosi being terrorized.
Give her a medal and make her Chief of Police of Minneapolis. I’m so damn tired of seeing white cops railroaded for killing a black thug who refuses a lawful order. Plain and simple if the SOB hadn’t tried to run he would be alive today. If he had been white instead of black it would have never made national news. I’m tired of it.
Where is the Mug Shot of the Black Male Cop that murdered Babbit
in DC?
RE: why be a cop in urban force now?....
They always are unsure if the time they kiss their husband or wife goodbye on the way to their shift will be their last glimpse before death.
They get very little of the 1950s style “hooray for officer Mullany who is visiting our school today.” and “Officer, you saved his life.”
Now it’s being taken for granted, or resented, or hated and targeted by blacks and leftist Dems. Our side even is wary as we will be the Deplorable targets of police soon and we openly resent having them fold their arms and watch us get mauled by Antifa.
And will they make it past all the police overseers, the new review boards, court actions without protection and the rest-—to their mundane retirement money. Working at a paint plant probably gives the same retirement plan or more.
I had a first thought upon seeing the mug shot of something Deepak Chopra, MD (leftist) said. “As a doctor I have watched a patient given the news that they had cancer. They seemed to age ten or more years in the first few seconds.”
Looks like that happened to the officer after her tragic nervous mistake. A whole life changed and a criminal is also gone. That fateful few seconds.
That body cam audio is going to hang her.
She clearly tells the suspect that she’s going to tase him, then again loudly says “Taser, Taser Taser” (which is done so that other officers don’t mistake the taser for gunfire causing “sympathetic fire”.). And then, to cap it, “Oh Sh*t, I shot him!”.
It’s pretty obvious that she didn’t see the need for deadly force, and didn’t intend to deploy deadly force.
The defense might still try to argue that in spite of those words that deadly force was justified, out of concern that he was reaching for a weapon, or attempting to strike another officer with the car.
That’s going to be a might big lift though. I think she’s toast.
Their police unions endorse their mayor and city councils.
I’d say stay where you are and keep shooting innocents in pajamas, like Mohammed Noor did in Minneapolis.
If you are stupid enough to work in such a city, you shouldn’t be allowed to work elsewhere.
Consider reading the article. Her bail was set at $100K and she bonded out later that day.
You can tell it's been updated because 1) It says it's been updated and 2) The excerpted material that's in the Free Republic original post is no longer found in the article on the NY Post website.

Now, what were you saying about reading, again?
Maybe dragged the other officer and killed him?
Maybe Tboned a family of 6 while fleeing?
Who knows?
The only one that I feel sorry for is Officer Potter.
Her life is ruined because of the violent actions of a POS punk.
You could have also done what I did, disbelieve the Post’s article (because they’re journalists that make huge errors and lie too) and gone to check the Hennepin County jail site:

2021005304 POTTER, KIMBERLY ANN 48 RELEASED FROM CUSTODY
to SELF for BOND POSTED on 4/14/21, 5:38 PM
OK, princess.
Later, snowflake.
I feel so sorry for her.
All I could think of was, who will protect her? Unlike who is protecting the killer of Ashli Babbit?
Some animals are more equal than others.
Ask Laz. He would know ;-)
We used to think we lived in a country in which everyone was treated equally. Not any more.
Mo Money! Mo Money! Mo Money!
