The pre-arranged mechanism worked, didn’t it? Now the “authorities” may freely admit what the steps were, and since there is to be no consequence accruing to them, they may even gloat a little that they “got away” with it.
For them, the plan came together and held long enough to oust Trump entirely.

Not really, tens of thousands of pumped up patriots, a few hundred wander over to the Capital, there, thee somewhat over zealous patriots see Antifa instigators posing as patriots egging them on and instigating entry to the Capital. 99% of the patriots wander in thinking it's OK. That's what happened, a mostly peaceful trespassing event, less crime than a typical dollar store looting which happens daily after a Black resists arrest and gets hurt.
Because... the US government has unlimited resources, and here's another chance for someone to tap them?
As true as all this may be, our side still gave them exactly what they’ve wanted for decades, a made for TV right wing riot to use for decades to come. No one from our side should have ever entered the building. A peaceful demonstration on the steps would have been fine, but as soon as the first window was broken all bets were off. They had what they wanted. And for those that say our side didn’t do that stuff, well we gave cover to those that did, and that’s just as good for their purposes.
I’m hearing no charges will be filed against the officer who shot Babbit. That should make for some interesting threads around here.

Pelosi wanted this. It was her Reichstag in DC. Unfortunately it worked because of the full and complicit media repeating the lefts talking points.

Where in the hell was Mitch McConnel on this. As head of the Senate he had access to all the same intel as Pelosi. He said nothing and did nothing in advance. He also is complicit.
Perhaps I am wrong. Trump was a mortal threat to both the Dem and Republican leadership of old. I think the old Republican leaders were quite content to see Trump lose in a stolen fraudulent election and thus preserve their positions.

In pharmacy school and geology we had to take some introductory statistics. I went to bed knowing Trump won. I woke up and he had lost? With my small knowledge of statistics I looked at the numbers over the next week. It was obvious it was a stolen election. A friend of mine a retired Air Force Pilot, Retired Airline Pilot, and electrical engineer were discussing this. I said based on my minor knowledge of statistics, "this election was stolen." He agreed. I asked him how much statistics he had. His answer was, "I taught it."
That election was stolen.
