The Biden administration is taking a page out of former President Donald Trump’s book, striking an agreement with the Northern Triangle countries to militarize their borders in an effort to curb the migrant flow.
Speaking to reporters during her daily briefing, White House press secretary Jen Psaki discussed the agreement hours after a Biden administration official had confirmed it.
“So, Mexico made the decision to maintain 10,000 troops at its southern border, resulting in twice as many daily migrant introductions,” the top White House spokeswoman said. “Guatemala surged 1,500 police and military personnel to its southern border with Honduras, and have agreed to set up 12 checkpoints along the migratory route. Honduras surged to 7,000 police and military to disperse a large contingent of migrants.”

It would have been much easier and much less costly for the country to simply have left Trumps policies in place. It was running along rather smoothly.

As if Biden would have the slightest ability to set up a good
deal for the U.S. They have no shame.
Tie Trump’s name to it, despite the fact they hated Trump,
and every deal he ever made.
Mexico has every right to send its army to its border with Guatemala and use force to keep foreigners out of their country. They should start with firing warning shots above the heads of the people who storm their border. If the warning shots do not work then the Mexican army should escalate to the next level.
International law requires asylum seekers to claim asylum in the first place where it is safe for them to be.
Asylum seekers are not allowed to “shop” for country to seek asylum, they have to ask for it right away.
As such, NONE! of the asylum seekers at the southern border should be accepted. If they are persecuted, they should ask for asylum in Mexico or other free countries they crossed over!
Basically only people who should be given asylum would be Canadian or Mexican if they prove that they are persecuted in Canada/Mexico!
Or somebody jumping off the ship or airplane.
The invasion must be polling really, really badly for the Dem junta to do this.
Still waiting for all those water tanks filled with millions of piranha hatchlings to be shipped from all over South America to the Rio Grande...
