The rise in hospitalizations and deaths over the holidays, and the subsequent steep decline we've seen over the last several weeks, has little to nothing to do with masks and the like. The rises we saw during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday season likely would not have been as severe if we had allowed for more herd immunity to occur during the summer and early fall of 2020. In other words — and again, short of an effective vaccine — the increase in cases was always going to happen; it was just a matter of when.
Also, the recent declines in cases, hospitalizations, and deaths occurred too soon and too rapidly to be attributable to the vaccine. In other words, this decline was always going to happen; it was just a matter of when. Now, a year removed from the beginning of the panic porn, the data continue to reveal the truth on the Wuhan virus. This is especially true for masks.

Altering behaviors to stop the spread is a noble cause, but did we have to dehumanize everyone in the process?
People without masks are no longer seen as human, but as uncaring disease carriers, to be demonized and accused of all the ills that have come to pass. History has seen this behavior before, and it didn’t end well.

Any time some ignoramus begins a thread, speech, or other title with “Wake Up” I know I can safely ignore any BS following that phrase.
These blue masks are like a chain link fence trying to stop humming birds.
It’s not mask zealotry alone but mask ideology. I’ve written about the largest mask study in Denmark with thousands of people in the test and more recently the CDC study shows the same outcome.
The mask outdoors shows the same margin of error differential, nothing more.
It never deserved to be made into any mandate.

The idea of masks from Dr. Redfield, who was silenced by the White House task force does have science to back it up. Redfield said masks can act like poor man’s vaccine.

According to Redfield they ONLY can reduce viral load in and out. People still contact virus, but the disease tends to be less severe, less lethal and also builds herd immunity.
Had we done that early on, we would not be in position we are. And we would not have radical anti maskers crowing abou fact masks do not do what they were never intended to do.
Yes but 90% are death from something else like heart attack, drug OD, stroke, diabetes and incidentally, covid.
Less that 10,000 died from only covid.
Masks are, by their nature against a 3 micron virus, useless, but great at lowering your O2 intake by 6% and bringing on a host of real medical problems.

So Doctor Fauci lied his face off when he said masks don't work against the CCP virus over a year ago? Was he lying then or is he lying now? You can't tell us that with his knowledge of a virus that he was lying in March 2020. He didn't lie to make sure masks were available for first responders. He told the truth in March of 2020. The "fifteen days to flatten the curve"... Does anyone with a brain realize what lies they are being fed? If masks truly worked then why the virus spread?

Because it's super freaking contagious and if you read the lancet article I provided, you would have read this part: However, no intervention, even when properly used, was associated with complete protection from infection. Other basic measures (eg, hand hygiene) are still needed in addition to physical distancing and use of face masks and eye protection..
Right - there’s a reason we breathe, it’s to get rid of used oxygen to get replaced by fresh. The body has to expel the bad stuff and wearing masks either slows or stops that action. I get all stuffed up wearing one but only when I actually have to at work.
They are making up for the being wrong by mandating the wearing of two masks and COVID passports........lovely, huh?
I’ll need a 10-year proven track record before I’ll even BEGIN CONSIDERING this “vaccine.”
I bet the article didn’t explain the negative effects of prolonged mask-wearing on physical and mental wellbeing, did it?
Masks mandates are dehumanizing. People are not seen as human, but disease-carrying vermin whose basic function of breathing must be altered.
