Conservatives: Stop Whining and Take Action
American Thinker.com ^ | March 17, 2021 | Lloyd Pettegrew and Jim McCoy

It is bad enough that Democrats are in the majority, owning the White House, the House, and the Senate with Kamala Harris being the majority vote on all legislation before this third governmental body. Adding insult to conservative injury is the resolute behavior of those Republicans in Name Only (RINOs) to rid any remembrance of what our nation benefitted from during the past four years.

After various departments of the federal government turned their backs on President Trump’s calls for investigations into the 2020 Election, it is ironic that Nancy Pelosi would call for a 9/11-type investigation of the fake conservative January 6th Capitol riot. The editors of the American Mind have argued,

“When the old guard goes out of its way to crush a new endeavor, you have to wonder what’s at stake. Nick Solheim and Saurabh Sharma of American Moment are young, devoted, and driven to ‘forge a cadre of aligned and dedicated young people to serve in government and public policy organizations to support strong families, a sovereign nation, and prosperity for all. Why should an editor of National Review -- a publication whose very reason for being is ostensibly to energize and guide the conservative movement -- want to undermine and discredit this exciting new endeavor in the eyes of his conservative audience?”

Why indeed?

I would guess their disquiet is rooted in thing themselves above all the political machinations allegedly caused by the sometimes unseemly 45th President. Conservative William F. Buckley created the National Review Institute to build a network of talented conservatives who would assist each other professionally and personally and supported by institutions such as the Claremont Institute and Hillsdale College in order to rein in an illiberal media and educational establishment.

Next time excerpt the action we’re supposed to take, not the problem we’re all aware of

That article raises a lot of interesting questions but it misses the BIG point.

This is not just a war between conservatives and liberals or even Republicans and Democrats. This is a war between the Ruling Establishment (the oligarchy, which wants America to become a totalitarian system) and the patriots who still love America as it was founded.

Confusing as hell when you look at it that way.

The enemy defies definition and its--the enemy's-- attacks are on so many fronts that it is impossible to begin to know how to sort them in order of priority so a counter-attack can be mounted.

Bottom line:

First, we must define the enemy clearly (that includes who the enemy is and what actions it has taken and is preparing to take).

Second, we must form ourselves into a responsive team (army) that includes leaders who can develop a strategic response and lead us into battle. Before any battle can be begun, we need to have a very clear idea of who we are (our strengths and weaknesses) and what we want and what we need to do to win.

The posters on this site like to blame the GOP politicians but if you don’t elect a majority then don’t expect results. Conservative activism has got to start at the grass roots.

Essay is 2/3 whine and 1/3 “Here’s what action to take: Put the RINOs out to pasture.”

Writer’s block is sometimes a good thing. Sometimes the writer needs to stay right there.

Your naievete belies your supposed screen name.
The RINOs control the party from the grass roots up.

The only way is to take over the precinct chairmanships; and I don’t know that we have time for that, as the RINOS/Deep State will push back *hard*.

I saw where I guy got thrown out of the precinct power structure for “not properly vetting / going through official channels” to bring in a mere volunteer to do database work — at a time when they were supposedly begging hat-in-hand for someone, ANYONE, to do the work at all.

It was a pretext, of course.

Heh. Why do you think there is an ammo shortage? :)

No action until GOP office holders both State and Federal deal with
Election Fraud.

Absolutely.

We haven't even begun to define this enemy, much less begun to fight it.

I am surprised that Trump hasn't started addressing the matter of defining the enemy. In that regard, he has fallen silent.

In the entire world, I can't think of one leader who has started speaking about this (and just speaking about it is an important first step).

Yes, surrender to them. That’ll work /s

In reality, good people are organizing and fighting making a difference. In Arizona, an audit if finally moving ahead ny order of the State Senate, a Michigan judge revealed the Whitmer clowns undid signature standards on ballots illegally and in Georgia, a judge agreed to start a process to examine all mail in ballots out of Fulton County.

NO SURRENDER!

Any efforts made will be a waste of time if Election Fraud is not corrected first. You should know that.

Explain to me how the RINOs control you. No, we elect these guys and we can throw them out. When I vote in the primaries I do not understand why only about 30% of Republican voters show up. That is not the fault of the pols. That is our fault. It’s a cop out to blame them. That’s also why the problem persists. If you always blame someone else then you’ve actually got no one to blame but yourself.

74+ Million voters would disagree with you....as would every protestor who showed up in Cities around American (and especially Wahsington D.C.).

The politicians heard us, but they do not care (nor do they have to care). They no wealize they easily have enough metropolitan machine votes to thwart our form of conservative politician for all eternity. To make matters worse, they are currently passing laws to widen that gap even further.

Eventually people stop rolling the stone up the hill when it just rolls down the other side.

They stole not just the most important election in plain sight they stole two more runoffs as well. There is no solution that happens politically or with voting given the FACT that voting no longer counts. Until people stop whining and leave the keyboards to put boots to necks nothing will change. At this point lives will be destroyed , homes lost, jobs lost, lives lost on both sides. Our founders would have already put up their lives, fortunes and sacred honor. That is where this country is like it or not voting is not going to fix this EVER again only physical force will.

You said it Texican. About 40 guys lined up WITH WEAPONS on Lexington Green and soon a revolution had momentum. We’ve got to be willing in this day and age to do the same.

Unfortunately there are a lot of whiners here on FR. If a senator or US Representative is only 80% or 90% in agreement with them, they disown them and say they are never again voting for them.

You may as well be a Democrat.

Voting is not action. Depending on voting is a losing proposition where there are no valid elections.

One march on the capitol was too little way to late
