Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will visit the early presidential proving ground of Iowa later this month on the heels of his February speech to a major gathering of conservatives in Florida.
The former Kansas congressman will speak to a March 26 breakfast gathering of the Westside Conservative Club, which meets in the Des Moines suburbs. Future presidential candidates often begin cultivating the support of Iowa voters years in advance of the state’s first-in-the-nation caucus.
Former President Donald Trump maintains a high degree of influence within the party and hasn’t ruled out running again. That has created potentially awkward situations for would-be Republican hopefuls...

Er what? Pompeo is now deep state? Come on.
If Trump doesn’t run, Pompeo would be a logical choice. Also, Florida Gov. DeSantis. I could mention some others. Again, if Trump doesn’t run, I think he would feel vindicated. Plus, victory would probably see Jared Kushner and/or Ivanka Trump in the cabinet.
I’ve listened to Pompeo. He doesn’t connect with people the way Trump does. But, who does? Pompeo was a strong Secretary of State and Trump put him in that position after working with him for a year as Director of the CIA.
Alex Jones recently interviewed Roger Stone in South Florida. Stone stated his belief that Pompeo is a Deep Stater.
Nobody preps for VP. He wants the top spot.
This guy’s resume has “Deep State” written all over it. Former CIA Director AND Secretary of State? No, thanks.
Pompeo always was Deep State.
He was the director of the friggin’ CIA. Recommended Gina as his successor. Ran the corrupt State Dept.

He has said that he won’t run in 2024 if Trump does and I believe him.
Let’s not also forget that Trump himself had a bevy of horrible picks for various posts. Actually, it was more the rule than the exception. A lot of dim-witted Freepers forget that too.

Mike Pompeo never reaches short.He has very long arms.
He’ll run for president and take the field unless President Trump re-offers.Then he likely would be in the VP slot and tale the next round for the presidency in 2028.
Pompeo is one of the brightest and strongest.He needs to lose about 100 pounds though.

Agreed. And after the Fauci/pandemic/Operation Warp Speed year, I am not so sure Trump wasn’t controlled opposition all along.
There is no 2022 or 2024. Its now or never. Either the military steps in and installs the rightful President very soon or we are going to never see another fair election. HR1 will make sure of it along with the dominion voting system. Anybody who does not understand this is simply in dream world.
