People may have lost some interest in politics after The Year That Was, but they’ve lost more of it at CNN than at its competitors. Variety reports that all of the Big Three cable news networks have seen significant declines over the last three months, although Fox News Channel has managed to hold the decline down to single digits. CNN, however, has seen their prime-time viewership drop dramatically over the last three months, and Variety chalks that up to the disappearance of CNN’s favorite prime-time punching bag (via Twitchy):
Our prediction that audiences would perk up for President Trump’s second impeachment trial proved correct. But in the weeks after the trial ended, audiences for CNN have plummeted; MSNBC is seeing about half CNN’s drop, while Fox News is down single digits. While the left-leaning networks may be losing steam without the ability to feed off of Trump being in office, conservative audiences have found new focal points for their concerns. …
Beginning first with total audience, it’s clear that CNN is the network that misses Trump the most. Trump-bashing tirades lack their zip with their protagonist taking on a much lower profile post-election, with “CNN Tonight with Don Lemon” and “Anderson Cooper 360” seeing their average audience in the first week of March one-third lower than the first week of December.
CNN isn’t the only network to see declines, but they are the most pronounced. MSNBC’s drops are around half of what CNN saw, with Chris Hayes (-16.7%) and Lawrence O’Donnell (-17.6%) seeing steeper declines than total primetime news leader Rachel Maddow (-9.1%).

Thanks, Bub!
I’ve been watching Peloton and then nice long walks with my German Shep...its great
I cut the cord 1/6/21 and don’t miss it. They’re practically offering everything to get me back. I told the ala carte and will talk.
I literally have not turned on cable news once since Nov. 4
Stevie Wonder isn’t blind. Do that search. You’ll be surprised. He’s another leftist phony.

First time I heard that. I did find this link.

I do remember watching him sing without the glasses and his eyes were definitely looking non-functional to me . . . granted that he could have been wearing contact lenses.
Dang, how about Ray Charles?
“I think Fox could go lower if the so called Trump supporters, who said they would never again watch Fox, had kept their word.”
I haven’t had Fox on since election night 2020. I also haven’t watched any of the other news networks. The Fox app and Twitter are also gone from my devices.
I’ve reached the point in life where I am going to ignore what I can’t change and focus on what I can enjoy - family, friends, hobbies, and observing the beauty of nature as spring weather returns and life returns to the landscape. I’m also starting to get involved in my community government where I can make an impact. I’ve already had a one on one meeting with the mayor of my town and I am attending town council meetings through Zoom. Once school board meetings open up, I plan to attend in person and ask pointed questions about curriculum, text books and the teaching of leftist propaganda such as the 1619 project. Perhaps I’ll run for the council in the next election cycle.
From 7-8:30AM I switch between Fox and Friends and Maria Bartiloma. Then in the evening it’s Kudlow, Tucker, Hannity and Laura. There are six or seven more solidly conservative voices on Fox who give Donald Trump kudos at every turn, some do so vehemently. Yes there are a few lefties and middle of the roaders, but there is no other network that does more for Donald Trump and his vision for America than the Fox network.
And I’ll betcha if asked, Donald Trump would say so himself.
We were cable subscribers for decades. Had a hard time convincing my hubby to do it, but after November even he had had enough, so we dumped it.
He looked at me over the dinner table not too long ago and had an epiphany. He didn’t miss it. Not the content, and certainly not the cost.
We don’t watch that much screen. We’d love to, but there’s nothing we want to see. We’ll stream the occasional documentary, but good ones are thin on the ground. Watch some foreign TV, but less if that, too, since more if that is going woke.
We find other things to do.
If Hollyweird grows a brain, we’d be happy to watch more, especially new content.
But we’re not holding our breath.
They’re pulling our legs. They tell these stories about Stevie and when you start to believe them as they tell them, they say “gotcha!”
YT periodically brings up tucker. I occasionally watch. Cut cord a couple if years ago.
I think I heard someone mention that.....who was that.....oh yeah, Trump!
I stopped watching on election night, I’m tired of the back stabbing GOP and the rat coup infestation. I am waiting for something I can stand behind that will crush these pukes once and for all, wishful thinking maybe
"Joseph Stolen"!!
Oh, I like that name, even better than President Biteme.
Sorry, but I'm going to steal it from you -- and I'd give you credit, if you insist you invented it... ?
;-)
CNN is ATT
MSNBC is Comcast
Telecom that sacrificed the Country for its China 5G ambitions.
>> “Joseph Stolen”!!
Use it freely.
I also watch Newsmax, but even they have not addressed the stolen election or the fake "insurgency".
Apparently they're all afraid of... something, don't know what, but it seems to have them all shaking in their boots and silent as church mouses.
No no, another FReeper did.
I’m going to have to start logging great ideas here so I can
give credit where due.
Gene, did you come up with it?
I’d like to credit you when I use it.
It’s a great name, coming close to Russia’s Stalin.
