The U.S. House of Representatives passed universal background check gun control Thursday, criminalizing private gun sales conducted apart from an FBI background check.

The legislation, H.R. 8, sponsored by Rep. Mike Thompson (D-CA), passed by a vote of 227 to 203.

They have turned the dealer into the enforcer. The dealer MUST take possession of the gun while the (up to) 10 background check is performed. Plenty of time to fabricate a semi to both buyer and seller requiring the dealer to keep it.

The states should nullify any law they make about gun control. Just ignore them.

Many states already have their own laws on the books regarding transfer of firearms.

All I know is that should something happen to my father, the guns in his house will be disappeared overnight with no registration whatsoever.

Obedience to an unconstitutional law is not happening here!

DO IT DO IT DO IT! Bring your “TOOLS” to my state and try to enforce it! If we want to get this civil war started, and blood running the hollers up to the horses’ bridles, this is how to get it started.

“DO IT DO IT DO IT! Bring your “TOOLS” to my state and try to enforce it! “

The tools are in DC, which is all that’s needed for them to operate. For the tiny number of people who will bunker-down on their property and plan on defending it, they will probably be left alone (unless Garland is another Janet Reno or something). But those people best not leave their property or expect to have any contact with the outside world, other than maybe by ham radio, as they’ll otherwise be cutoff.

I learned something during the Texas blackouts last month - while planning for survival is challenging and fun, actually being in a survival situation, with virtually no contact with the outside world (in addition to power, phones and internet were off too), is pretty damn BORING. Can’t see doing that very long and not going nuts.

...and to think, if only one of those RINOs had won in Georgia, no one would be coming for the guns and we wouldn’t even be talking about this...makes me wonder if we’re just too smart for ourselves.

You’re right. A few years ago when stimulus checks went out it just showed up in my checking account, no check in the mail. How’d they know my checking account numbers? They can pass any gun tax/fine they want and drain every account you have before you even know it.

Thanks, yea, I listed a few things they can do now, and likely can do soon in the future, all from DC (on my home page). They’ll get compliance from the 99.9% of the people who don’t want their lives ruined, and for the rest, who are willing to fully live off the grid, they won’t care, they’ll just be ignored...until they slip up (like try driving into town and triggering one of their ‘sensors’ or DHS License Plate readers).

That’s the same list as when it passed a year ago without Senate action following. In out 38 I am giving all the actions through yesterday as it is reintroduced and then fiddled with to have it all ready to go when they want to re-send it to the Senate.

The actions today prior to adjournment are no different. I see no full vote on the previously passed bill in the record.

“Yep, enforcement is totally their discretion, once the laws are in place.”

This is the goal. Not confiscation, not crime reduction. The goal is to make all us all criminals. They know large segments of the population are not going to comply. From Atlas Shrugged:

“Did you really think we want those laws observed?” said Dr. Ferris. “We want them to be broken. You’d better get it straight that it’s not a bunch of boy scouts you’re up against... We’re after power and we mean it... There’s no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren’t enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What’s there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted – and you create a nation of law-breakers – and then you cash in on guilt. Now that’s the system, Mr. Reardon, that’s the game, and once you understand it, you’ll be much easier to deal with.”

Yep, exactly. Once we’re all criminals, then it’s easy for them...they just selectively prosecute the people who ‘give them trouble’, as is happen now regarding the Jan 6 rally in DC.

What you have to understand is the degree to which a CIA-like Stasi operation is deployed on the American public. They will enforce it selectively, and take out whoever is a problem.

A few years back I thought like you and was totally powerless. I got into politics, and the surveillance showed up in my life, and Holy Cow. Every neighborhood has some sort of covert watchers assigned whose job it is to get to know everybody in the neighborhood very personally, even though you may not even be able to recognize them as living near you. They will know what weapons you have (there is, in essence, already a covert registry), and the operation can make all sorts of bad luck type situations happen which you will never realize are them. From what I see, right now Civil War II is a non-starter unless everyone becomes savvy to this covert operation deployed all around us.

Stop by http://www.anonymousconservative/blog/surveillance to learn more, and grasp that these laws are just designed to criminalize everyone, so they can have their intel operation cause random “bad luck” to accidentally expose your violations and get you selectively taken off the game board when the time comes.

All of this is much, much worse than anyone normal could believe without running into the covert intel op taking over our government in the flesh. This machine was critical to the infiltration of all critical positions to rig our elections, and its operational support was critical to the active fraud operations on election night. It is a CIA-like op that has now taken over our government in a hard coup.

And if you don’t know it is out there, you are just helpless.

If this obscenity passes don’t look for the supremes to overturn it. They’re the ultimate DC insiders. Wholly belonging to the swamp. Just look at supposed “conservatives” Barrett’s and Kavanaugh’s performance on the election fraud cases

[I know, that’s why whoever gets elected doesn’t matter, right, and people on our side can make ‘statements’ like sitting out the Georgia Runoffs to ‘teach the GOP a lesson’.]

The Georgia RINOs wouldn’t have kept this from passing the House, and they wouldn’t be keeping it from passing the Senate, either.
