Twenty Republicans joined Democrats to confirm Garland
Judge Merrick Garland will be the next U.S. attorney general after the Senate confirmed him with a vote of 70 to 30.
Garland received bipartisan support during his confirmation process from both Democrats and Republicans.
"Judge Garland's unshakeable commitment to serving his country is deeply rooted in who he is," Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., said after the Senate Judiciary Committee voted to recommend Garland's nomination. "He fundamentally grasps that America's greatness rests in our bedrock principles of justice and the rule of law."

McConnell is a POS, but after hearing Garland talk about how the summer riots weren’t Domestic Terrorism because the govt building were torched when business wasn’t being conducted, the good Senator did this Nation a massive service by blocking his SCOTUS vote.
If he doesn’t know the Second Amendment we should probably send him a copy of the Constitution. Boy, we dodged a bullet keeping him off SCOTUS
Garland won’t be 69 until Nov..but appears much older looking than that...

For a guy that answered “I don’t know” so many times during his conformation gives me hope the eventually I, who know nothing about law, might get a chance to be US AG some day.
We must pray for David Daleiden the guy who reported on the baby body chop shops. Garland was one of his judges in CA.
