Trump announces new tranche of endorsements
The Hill ^ | March 5, 2021 | Tal Axelrod

Posted on 03/06/2021 6:05:38 AM PST by Dr. Franklin

Former President Trump released a new tranche of endorsements as he asserts himself as the leader of the Republican Party going into the 2022 midterms.

In a trio of endorsements Friday evening, Trump announced his support for South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster (R) and Idaho Sen. Mike Crapo (R), both of whom are running for reelection, and Arkansas Lieutenant Governor Tim Griffin (R), who is running to be his state’s attorney general.

In his endorsements, Trump cast the lawmakers as staunch supporters of an array of conservative values, touting their stances on immigration, gun rights and more.

Trump said McMaster “is Strong on the Military, our Vets, Crime, and the Second Amendment” and that Crapo “will continue to be a Champion for our Second Amendment and the great Outdoorsmen and Women of Idaho and the USA.” The former president added that Griffin “will stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the brave Men and Women of Law Enforcement.”

The slew of endorsements underscore Trump’s deepening involvement in races across the country heading into the 2022 midterms.

Trump appears set to style himself as a GOP kingmaker, and his support remains a huge benefit to Republicans running in ruby red states like South Carolina, Idaho and Arkansas.

>>> Trump will support a RINO who is a winner over a MAGA candidate who is a loser. It’s really that simple.

I think you just made my point.

“tranche of endorsements
slew of endorsements
trio of endorsements
Theatrical writing 101?”

hahahaahahhaha!!

That jumped right-out at me too.
Seemed almost like the adorable but “Clueless” Cher’s debate scene, lots of fluffy words.

You are making too much sense. Sense doesn’t work with folks who believe in lizard people magic. They are beyond all reason.

Crapo will be 71 years old. We need new blood. Electing him again will allow resources to be spent in more competitive races. If trump leads we should follow. Use your head.

Crapo is a dinosaur, just like Mcconnell. He has been in DC too long. Politically, I think it's a mistake to endorse such people. They are living, breathing, walking exhibits for term limits that most Americans want. MAGA doesn't need to follow Trump on everything, especially disloyal RINOs.

Correct.

I have watched and read most if not all thoughts on the upcoming (now active) SuperPac direction, Not only as it relates to the 2022 elections but the presentation of “support and endorsement” by PDJT and those named.

The underlying feeling from every voice stolen in the 2020 election is furry but has become somewhat silenced as they know who back-stabbed them, and why, and the term Assistant Democrats is really the UNiparty, and very much in the voters minds and shall Not go away.

Some have mentioned the failure of some that are listed here, others mention that at least one is over 70 and let him be (re-elected ) even after bad efforts??

We have One shot at saving our Nation, and it is Not going to be by pandering to those who stabbed us in the back.

BY the end of 2021 we are going to be so deeply swamped(no pun intended) by the EO and Mandate tsunami that trying to fudge “MAGA” physical, or financial support for Uniparty members is going to be about as easy as stopping a moving train with your face.

Tactics are one thing, but trying to tell MAGA voters they have to hold their nose again is Not going to help in the slightest.

There shall not be a down ballot coat-tail event in 2022, if the voters in each state know damn well those being “endorsed” are the garbage we just got Totalitarianism from.

This is my family and friends opinion, it may not be yours, but we have one choice, support the Uniparty we know will again screw us, or Take the pain and vote for the candidate that is NOT Uniparty, but a proven Conservative with solid 1a and 2a voting records.

I am choosing the latter defined candidate, as is my right, endorsed or not. We are not voting for Uniparty.

May God grant you His Blessings.

To get my affection and confidence in his clained "Christianity," he will have to give the perverse culture of Sodomy and other sexual deviations a thumbs down, as he has for abortion. You can't claim to be approved of God without obeying and promoting His commandments for a righteously-inclined populace.

So far, I'm still on the lesser-of-two-evils side, along with lots of other followers of the Son of God, whose Will is supreme and not to be disregarded to obtain more votes.

Folks here on FR should go back over Trump’s last five years and see the clear pattern he followed: HE ONLY ENDORSES WINNERS.
Trump will support a RINO who is a winner over a MAGA candidate who is a loser. It’s really that simple.

Trump is all about his image, perhaps too much. Patrick Byrne made similar comments about his rally on January 6th. Did the RINO win over the MAGA candidate because of Trump's endorsement? If so, maybe Trump needs to reconsider a candidate's loyalty to MAGA issues, and the constitution over wanting to pick the winner...

And let’s stop posting all the variations of this nonsense on FR: “Sen. X and Rep. Y should be primaried because they didn’t stop the coup on January 6th!” That’s idiotic. There was nothing that could be done to overturn the Electoral College by that time, and there are plenty of damn good reasons why you don’t want Senators and House members voting to disqualify electoral votes from states they don’t represent.

Article IV, Section 4:
The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government

That language includes the Congress. Congresscritters who don't fulfill their oath of office should suffer a consequence. Yes, something could have been done by Congress. They are not obligated to rubber stamp massive election fraud, but they did. That must have a consequence or the Republic is dead.

I am not giving money to any SuperPAC, not even Trump's. If I like a candidate, I will contribute to that candidate myself. Trump may be a rich man trying to buy loyalty from RINOs, but how well did that work in 2020? How loyal to him were the Congresscritters for whom Trump endorsed, and campaigned? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on us. To quote The Who, "We don't get fooled again!"

What’s a “tranche?” Sounds like a cross between a pan and a trench.

This is an example of why so many so called conservatives lose their audiences quickly.

>>> He hasn’t. I don’t know that he ever will. The MAGA crowd isn’t obligated to support his endorsed candidates.

This appears to be your only disagreement with me...

I remember at least two times he mentioned a RINO he supported (Like Kemp) whom he said he helped get elected, and then they turned on him.

It appears to me the MAGA crowd will take Trump’s endorsement instantly over ANY individual research on record, character, or qualifications. I really do hate to say this, but it seems to me much of Trump’s power IS cultic in nature.

That is what is bothering me... and here’s another example.

I find Trump’s Anti-Globalist/Anti-NWO/Anti Big Tech platform to be INCONSISTENT with his Spear-heading operation WARP Speed... which in my view IS a NWO global depopulation scheme using Big Pharma. Trump should have fired Fauci on multiple occasions during the pandemic. He never did.

I also find it extremely ODD that many of Trump’s most dedicated followers making social media videos out there about election fraud and Trump’s return to power, also have videos warning against the dangers of this PATENTED Virus and the NWO agenda to accomplish world depopulation through the likes of Bill Gates.

These Q-like followers of Trump COMPLETELY IGNORE the parts of Trump’s speeches where he claims full credit for his administration’s role in developing the vaccine in record time... telling us to “Never let them (democrats) take credit for what we accomplished with the vaccines”.

I don’t claim to know if these vaccines are safe or effective... But I do not trust them.

The more I learn about them, the more it DOES appear to me to be an evil plot against humanity, rather than a miracle of medicine... at the very least it is global experimentation on human beings with gene altering technology.

Time will tell... and with Trump claiming credit for them, that alone gives me good reason to ask why.

I don't think we really disagree Trump does have an ego, and likes commanding a crowd. Psychologically, he may crave that adulation. I think he wanted his victory affirmed by the courts or the state legislatures rather than by executive action. He needed that. I submit that there is a very good Ninth Amendment argument that citizens have a right to transparency in counting the ballots in an election since that comports with the historical record up to about 20 years ago.

It appears to me the MAGA crowd will take Trump’s endorsement instantly over ANY individual research on record, character, or qualifications. I really do hate to say this, but it seems to me much of Trump’s power IS cultic in nature.

Things may be so bad in 2022, that Trump's endorsement won't matter. If MAGA makes this Us vs. The Swamp, the Swamp loses regardless of Trump's endorsement and he can claim victory anyhow. He could say, "Well, I tried, but people hated him for certifying a fraudulent election." Trump wins either way for PR purposes. Will he really support RINOs financially? Dunno. Personally, I won't be buying any trademarked Trump merchandise, so they won't get any money from me.

I don’t claim to know if these vaccines are safe or effective... But I do not trust them. Agreed. I won't be taking any experimental "vaccines" either. Other people can be the human guinea pigs for what the untested long term consequences are. They inflated the number of Covid deaths, while suppressing cheap, effective treatments like HCQ and Ivermectin, to stampede the public so Big Pharma makes obscene profits. I think Trump got played by the mercurial "expert" Fauci.

For all the obvious flaws, potential fraud, and ACTUAL fraud in the 2020 election, you and I have no idea who actually won in November if only the legal votes were counted. With that in mind, what the hell was Congress supposed to do on January 6th?

As I said back in November... this fiasco should have been addressed BEFORE the electoral vote certification in mid-December.

I hate to break this to you, but having Congress select the president in cases other than those clearly specified in the U.S. Constitution is hardly a “Republican form of government.”

Excuse me, but that’s stupid. Perverse cultures of Sodomy and other sexual deviations are not just an affront to Christians, there an affront to all normal humans. He’s a germaphobic for goodness sake. And he has a beautiful wife and lovely family.

Talk about idiotic! That sleight-of-hand misdirection you offer ignores the Constitution and subsequent federal legislation that empowered the Congress to examine presidential elections after the EC has acted but prior to any inauguration. That, in essence, is the Pence rationale and it defies logic.
