Hoosier born and a big Indy 500 fan where the best part of the race is the respect for our military.

One year Aerosmith sang The National Anthem. The lyrics they used was “the home of the brave and the land of the Indy 500”. That p.o.ed the crowd major!!!! The boos were deafening.

About 5-6 years ago they had several WWII vets in the pre-race ceremony. Great 500 that year.
