If Kahmmy Harris becomes President, the Dems lose positive control of the Senate, as the V-P position will be empty. Even though there is a constitutional provision for the congressional election of a new V-P, the GOP is not obligated to go along. The GOP could offer to support Sherrod Brown or Jon Tester for V-P; this would mean that the GOP would take control 51-49 when the GOP governors in those states get to appoint the successor.

This is why I think the Rats are stuck with the Lunch Bucket Kid until he ends up like President Bill Mitchell in the movie “Dave” (will they recruit Tom Shillue to be the LBK’s double?).
