They think he’s just trying to bribe for more money, rather than expose the massive payout to corporations and non citizens.

How about a pro business climate, immigration controls, with full American citizen employment and lower taxes. That would be preferable to higher taxes, open borders, businesses going under, fewer jobs going to Americans, high unemployment and stimulus (redistribution of wealth) checks.
