There are some aspects of “normalcy” here in CA I do not necessarily want making a comeback — namely traffic and congestion. Which was virtually nil through most of lockdown.

Who believes that the newly minted petty tyrants in Governors’ chairs in mostly liberal but some more conservative states will easily give up their dictatorial power? When they cannot get enough support from the CCP virus they will probably jump to Climate Emergency. The restrictions will change somewhat but surely the new ones will be more onerous. The left is already pushing for Climate Emergency to be declared by whoever is operating Joe Biden so the rule by Decree can come from the top.
