One of the most obvious challenges to objective truth today is transgender compliance—agreeing that an individual can change his sex from male to female (or vice versa), and be referenced as such, on the mere basis of feelings and psychology. It’s no wonder conservatives are pushing back against this illogical and anti-scientific agenda—a dogma that projects man’s subjective truth over nature and reality. Unfortunately, however, too many conservatives are on the losing end of the argument because they have already sacrificed key premises regarding sexuality. Put simply, those who have said “yes” to homosexuality as a true and legitimate sexual identity have no consistent standing to say “no” to transgenderism.

I accept that some people are attracted exclusively to their own sex.
There has been a vast increase in transgenderism, not merely in its visibility. It’s a new and contagious expression of teenaged girls’ unhappiness, and of middle-aged men’s sexual fetishes.

At any rate, even people who morally accept homosexuality could recognize that most transgenderism is a kind of hysteria, and that encouraging it does not help those who suffer from it.

I’m not sure I understand your point. Neither the author nor I argue that admitting one’s homosexuality is untruthful; our argument is that homosexuality itself is disordered and contrary to the Natural Law. If we as conservatives concede the point that men having sex with men is normal, then we have no basis on which to defend the truth on other issues, including transsexualism or transgenderism.
Aren’t we doing apples and oranges here (two different kinds of fruit)?
I am defending nothing, as I am sure you understand from what I wrote. I am pointing out that one is being honest about one’s sexuality, and the other is deception, of one’s self and other people. Yet, the woke would have us punished if we do not accept this deception. They are not the same.
