House Republican Conference Chair Liz Cheney (Wyo.) on Tuesday rejected the “America First” foreign policy that was the centerpiece of former President Trump’s global agenda.
Speaking during a virtual event with the Reagan Institute, the No. 3 House Republican warned against policies of isolationism and said the U.S. must take a leading role on the world stage as part of efforts to push back against China's and Russia's ambitions.
“These ideas are just as dangerous today as they were in 1940, when isolationists launched the America First movement to appease Hitler and prevent America from aiding Britain in the fight against the Nazis,” Cheney said. “Isolationism was wrong and dangerous then and it is wrong and dangerous now.”

America First isn’t isolationism anymore than supporting your state or college’s football team over others is “isolationism”.
It’s about taking care of you and yours FIRST.
There is no contradiction in an America First policy and America remaining fully engaged with nations of the world. Cheney is a fork-tongued liar.

President Trump was one of the most engaging foreign policy Presidents - ever. How do the Cheney’s live with themselves and their lies?
Interesting that Miss Cheney is such an interventionist as is her father. Yet when it came time for Mr. Cheney to put his money where his mouth is, he had six draft deferments so he never had to go anywhere as a US soldier. Its easy to talk, Miss Cheney, hard to act as your draft-dodger father showed.
