Here’s what Ted Cruz is missing out on in Cancun.

The Texas senator’s family was happily soaking up the Mexican sun Friday — without him — after leaving the Lone Star State, where millions experienced power outages and record freezing temperatures during a deadly winter storm, exclusive photos show.

Cruz’s wife, Heidi, was seen on the sand wearing a red bikini under blue beach umbrellas, video and photos obtained by The Post show.

So what? Do they want him to come back to melt the snow? Liberals are such hypocrites!

The vacation was probably planned for a long time anyway.

It was planned 2 days after they lost power. Per Ted Cruz on Hannity.

So now it’s a crime to go on vacation or make the best of a bad situation?

In that case...Not such a great idea. There still was not much he could do.

He should have gone out to Marfa and help to defrost all the windmills, I guess.

It just looks bad on him in the minds of the constituents. There will be people who will remember that Cruz didn’t stick around when his presence mattered the most. I probably would not have taken a vacation, at this time, so I can be there to lend a hand in whatever way is useful.

It could be why he may lose in his next election.

There is another article in the Post that has pictures of Ted’s Texas home where he left the family dog stranded, which just goes to show that no matter how low you think the media can sink they always manage to sink lower.

At least he didn’t put it on top of the car, so there’s that.

You can attack Ted Cruz but leave his family out of it. I’d send them there also.

He’s just another RINO. This should knock him out of 2024.

Please list four things he could do that would actually be useful.

Attention whore playacting does not count.

I think they call it acting white, which is a major criminal activity now.

I’m not being a concern troll. I simply know how politics works and it’s never a good idea for a politician to skip out on his constituents when their world seems to be collapsing. You don’t think that they will remember that.

I am aware that, as a federal politician that he’s in no position to provide funding, unless Texas requests the funding. However, it simply would have been a smart thing to stick around and hand out whatever the government or charities are handing out to help people get by.

That’s the job of a politician.

I am in Texas. If I had the ability to leave and go to Cancun to escape, I would. I will never stay for another Deep Freeze Week.
