The Russian Foreign Ministry has issued a statement lambasting the United States government under Joe Biden for the “ongoing persecution campaign” taking place “against anybody at all who does not agree with the results of the latest presidential election.” In the statement, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova delivered a scathing assessment of the human rights situation in the United States under President Joe Biden.
Zakharova described the ongoing crackdown against Trump loyalists in the United States:
“The FBI has reportedly opened more than 400 criminal cases and applied for more than 500 search warrants and subpoenas for suspects; it has also brought charges against and detained around 200 people. Only several dozen defendants have been released on bail or placed under house arrest. The others are being subjected to harsh pressure, with members of their family and social circle being coerced intogiving a ‘convenient’ testimony. Moreover, people who have not even been officially charged are losing their jobs; they are being banned from social media and publicly ostracised.”
She also questioned the “objectivity of the law enforcement agencies” involved in this campaign, noting that they were acting under orders and “in line with the narrative of the current administration who declared the events of January 6, 2021 a riot and everybody who was near the US Congress on that day all but plunderers.”
She went on to correctly note that far from being violent rioters, most of the attendees of the January 6 rally were peaceful protesters.
“In fact, the majority of those people were ordinary citizens concerned about the situation in their own country,” she said. “These were 74 million voters who voted for their president and defendedtheir views.”
She warned that the administration’s crackdown would not solve the widespread discontent towards Biden’s rule:
“Their protest will not just go away. You cannot just sweep discontent under the rug. Even the rhetoric that the United States allows itself to use with respect to Russia will not help distract public attention from the country’s own problems. They will have to be dealt with. US citizens deserve to be treated according to the law and in line with Washington’s international obligations.”Accordingly, she then called on the United States to respect the “basic human rights” of Trump supporters.
“In this context, we have every reason to express concern and demand that basic human rights be observed,” she added. “US officials are constantly and hypocritically taking care of these rights when it comes to other countries; and yet, they have no scruples in ignoring them at home.”
As the human rights situation continues to deteriorate in the United States, it is becoming apparent to the world that Trump supporters are a repressed group in Biden’s America.
Russia pretty well overcame their addiction to communism by recognizing its flaws while a good portion of Americans at least half, are embracing a version of it such as radical socialism as the next greatest thing right after sliced bread which in the long run doesn’t bode well and may very well lead to a train wreck in the making.
...they continue to this day arming and heavily supporting damn near every communist and hard-left regime on the planet, including those throughout Latin America and of course communist China, who they've been conducting serious joint war games with since 2005. Not to mention communist North Korea.
Note that 2015 was also the year that the communist front group, so-called "Black Lives Matter", went to help out their and Russia's comrades in Venezuela with elections going on there at the time. If interested, see my earlier post for some details on that.

Russia and North Korea declare 2015 a ‘year of friendship’
“The biggest cause for concern is the growing military alliance between Russia and North Korea, with the two regimes recently announcing plans to conduct a series of joint army, navy and air force exercises this year.”

Western powers fomenting Ukrainian Paul:conflict, US should ‘stay out’

Former United States congressman and presidential candidate Ron Paul has called on the US to stay out of the intensifying Ukraine conflict, saying it was Western powers that initially stirred unrest there and which continue to incite the tense situation

Donald Trump slammed President Obama Thursday on TODAY for failing to take a stronger line against President Vladimir Putin in dealing with Ukraine, saying he feared Obama would now make up for lost time with imprudent moves to “show his manhood.”
The real estate mogul and reality-TV star, who has criticized Putin for sending military troops into Crimea, said Obama must now take fierce steps to prevent the situation from escalating further.
“We should definitely do sanctions and we have to show some strengths.
I mean, Putin has eaten Obama’s lunch, therefore our lunch, for a long period of time,” Trump said. ...”

Mike Pence on Putin, Russia, and the Obama admin...
(from the VP debate on Oct 5, 2016)
“When Donald Trump and I observe that, as I’ve said, in Syria, in Iran, in Ukraine, that the small and bullying leader of Russia has been stronger on the world stage than this administration, that’s stating painful facts. That’s not an endorsement of Vladimir Putin — that’s an indictment of the weak and feckless leadership of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.” ...”
[Pence continues] What we’re dealing with is the — you know, there’s an old proverb that says the Russian bear never dies, it just hibernates.
And the truth of the matter is, the weak and feckless foreign policy of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama has awakened an aggression in Russia that first appeared a few years ago with their move in Georgia, now their move into Crimea, now their move into the wider Middle East.

You’re quoting Obama’s communist CIA chief and pushing the same lies Dems did about Russian collusion?
Wow!
Yes. Thank the good Lord.
I know very well what the Russian people are all about. I subscribed to nine different Russian YouTubers. I've got very nice replies back from them. They are good people, Russians in general seem like good people and life in Russia, although not as affluent, is not much different than in red state America.
One is a whole lot safer walking the streets of St. Petersburg or Moscow than in most of our big liberal cities.
Yes, Putin is a nationalist and will do what's best for his country and himself. But, Biden and our Deep State is no better than he is or the Russian Deep State anymore.
China, not Russia, is the major threat to this country.
I’ve noticed the Russia threads tend to get spammed with walls of repetitive posts that make it hard to read any other replies. Its annoying especially using a phone to scroll through the thread.:(
You are obviously out of your mind. You should see someone about it. Seriously.

Barack Obama's CIA chief, John Brennan, told the Annual Legislative Conference of the Congressional Black Caucus, on 15 September 2016, in Washington DC, that when he had applied in 1980 to join the CIA, he admitted to them that in the 1976 Presidential election, when Jimmy Carter was running against Gerald Ford, Brennan had voted instead for the candidate of the U.S. Communist Party, Gus Hall, and that he was then greatly relieved to find that this information didn't cause rejection of his CIA-application.
This had happened 11 years before the 1991 end of the Cold War..."

From left-wing CNN...
(CNN) At his first polygraph test to enter the CIA, the future director had a secret. John Brennan on Thursday [Sept 2016] recalled being asked a standard question for a top security clearance at his early CIA lie detector test:
Have you ever worked with or for a group that was dedicated to overthrowing the US?
"I froze," Brennan said during a panel discussion about diversity in the intelligence community at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's annual conference.
"This was back in 1980, and I thought back to a previous election where I voted, and I voted for the Communist Party candidate"
Brennan was responding to a question about barriers to recruiting diverse candidates for the intelligence fields, including whether past records of activism could hurt someone applying for a clearance later in life. ...."
Time to move somewhere that doesnt have democrats. Other countries will do well to ban them like Islamic Brotherhood and others. I think France is actually doing something like that, can you believe it the French?
You're as obsessed with keeping the Cold War alive as Democrats are of keeping racism alive.
Why don't you address the points I just made about the Russian people. Most Russians have a favorable view of America or, even, would like to live here. They want their government to be like ours.
When asked what countries they don't like, they name countries like North Korea and Islamic countries.
So, there is no chance the Russian government is going to seek to destroy this country. It's completely at odds with what the Russian people desire.

That awkward moment when Russia accuses you of doing Soviet things.
Oh phooey!
There is a VERY conservative Orthodox Church in the USA and elsewhere, the Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR). They split with the Moscow Patriarchate over communist influence. However, as of 2007, they reunited with the Moscow Patriarchate.!!!!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_Orthodox_Church_Outside_Russia#Post-reconciliation_schism
If Russian Orthodox Christians are good enough for ROCOR (AND for nearly all other Orthodox Church jurisdictions here in the USA), they’re good enough for me!!!! It would be a SIN for me to say otherwise!!!!
No country has more infant Baptisms and adult conversions than Russia—usualy in the Holy Orthodox Church!! No country has more construction of new Church buildings than Russia!! I hope and pray that the USA comes to equal that record!!!!
