I am so deeply saddened by this news. Our thoughts and prayers to him and his family.
The only one close in greatness to Rush is Chris Plante. Even so, Rush was one of a kind.
I woke up at 3:00 AM from a dead sleep, wide awake. Couldn’t figure out why because I never do that. Dogs were snoring so I knew the house was OK. I was very unsettled so I grabbed my phone to check the news to see if anything had happened.
When I heard Katheryn’s. voice, at 9:06 AM, I knew what had happened.
A great spirit had passed.
And that’s what woke me up. Reading same on other threads.

Been a Rush fan since 1990, 30 years.
I don’t know what to say, except this is a great blow, both to us conservatives personally and to our movement. But he never gave up, and we must never give up either no matter how bad any situation looks.
I’m heartbroken over Rush passing; they’ll never be another voice as influential as his. I love him and that forward to seeing him again, because I know he was a believer in Christ as Savior.

Yes, memory eternal. I’m crying now.
But “with the Saints give rest oh Lord,” because Rush worked so hard for so long and is now resting.
Loved listening to Rush. God bless his family. We’re all his family. See you at the resurrection.

Oh, so sorry!
I lost my husband three months ago and my mother right before that along with my beloved dog last July.
Rush’s death feels on the same level.
I started listening to Rush on day one in Detroit on August 1, 1988 when he went national. I remember it like yesterday, I was a teenager and was radio surfing in my car, stopped to listen and have been listening ever since. RIP Rush.
