I am so deeply saddened by this news. Our thoughts and prayers to him and his family.
RIP Rush. I learned so much from you!
What worries me is the thought that God took Rush to spare him from living through what’s soon to come.
How about “Rita X” calling into his show. Those times were hillarious.
He is with Jesus now. I am saddened but I am so thankful that we had him here with us for so long.
HUSH’D be the camps to-day;
And, soldiers, let us drape our war-worn weapons;
And each with musing soul retire, to celebrate,
Our dear commander’s death.
No more for him life’s stormy conflicts;
Nor victory, nor defeat—no more time’s dark events,
Charging like ceaseless clouds across the sky.
But sing, poet, in our name;
Sing of the love we bore him—because you, dweller in camps, know it
truly.
As they invault the coffin there;
Sing—as they close the doors of earth upon him—one verse,
For the heavy hearts of soldiers.
WHITMAN
Rest In Peace Rush, Job well done, we will take it from here
Note to FNC: Not just Republicans. I’m a Democrat who hasn’t voted that way since I started listening to Limbaugh over 20 years ago.
Note to Newsweek: Thanks for the article back in 1998 that mentioned Limbaugh. It made my curiosity bump itch. Not your intention I’m sure, but it got me listening and the rest is personal history.
My daily companion via podcast (if one day late) in my long commute to and from work. You’ll be missed, buddy, by tens of millions. RIP
So sorry for the loss over your beloved husband, and the loss of Rush, your radio husband. Keep them with you in your heart.
I would love to hear my President talk about Rush....but, not on Fox who hates me.
Thanks for that! Younger Rush 😀
Rest In Peace, Rush. You taught generations of Americans to sort through the evidence and see the truth. Some people are incapable of learning, but you helped those of us who are. You brought records out into the open, for everyone to see, for the first time. Without the education you provided to Americans, I don’t know if America would have had the mindset to elect a Donald Trump. I think there may have been many more fools who remain ignorant of the facts, and despise President Trump, because they would have no idea what he’s done for them. For all of us. I don’t know how anyone could admire one of you, without admiring you both. I think it must take a special kind of stupid. We were blessed to have you in our lives. Rest in the arms of the Lord.
It’s a live show in England ....doing the China car sunflower segue into I know u rider as I type....which we all love as u know well I’m sure

I think Hunter added that one to the traditional lyrics
I remember buying his first book in 1993 when I was expecting my son. Saw “The Way Things Ought to Be” in the supermarket and put it face down in the cart because I had heard such terrible things about Rush.
I think I read it in one sitting. I was apolitical at that time. Never again.
Found his station and never looked back.
Donated yearly to the leukemia and lymphoma drive - my Dad died of leukemia. Got a Rush T- shirt several years for donating and proudly wore them up and down the state of California. Got a lot of compliments too.
“Rush Limbaugh showed us how it was done.
Now that he is gone we must carry on using what we learned.”
YES! Thankyou for saying that! He never gave up on conservatism, or on us. We continue!
very cool... thanks for posting

Honestly? You know what I am thinking about? Isn’t it just like God to pull out all of your support so you MUST move closer and lean on HIM ONLY? I think about Donald Trump, 2 of his Confidants, Donald Trumps -Brother Robert Trump and now RUSH has been taken.
It’s a Void in DONALD TRUMP’S life only GOD CAN FILL!
A very sad day.
