They can play the peanut gallery while still collecting all the lobbyists perks, like dinners and trips. If they’re relegated to permanent minority status, even better for them.
I’m not sure what the answer is. But, after Biden enacts his amnesty, there may not be an answer anymore. McConnell and the rest will be in the permanent minority.

Time to let Republicans know loud and clear if they are backed in their primaries and/or elections by McConnell, they will not get grassroots Republican backing. They must choose and we must isolate McConnell as he has sought to do to Trump and individuals Republicans must set up alternative funding from the “Republican Party” McConnell-controlled funds.
