I still find his continued absence odd. We all have our different reactions to chemo. I may have required a nap once in a while. But I was never totally out of commission.
Maybe Rush doesn’t have the energy to do his show prep or do a full show but he almost certainly would be able to tape a two or three minute update about his condition. In fact, he did this at least once that I recall.
But he hasn’t been heard from for nearly two weeks now.
When last he was on, he clearly was wink-wink, when speaking about the validity of the November election. Maybe he wasn’t wink-wink enough and important stations cancelled or threatened to cancel?

You’re extremely lucky. Everyone I’ve known who’s had chemo was totally out of commission at one time or another.
My chemo consisted of one pill one time. The only ‘side effect’ was that I couldn’t allow children or wimmin of childbearing age to sit on my lap for a week. Sadly enough, that didn’t affect my life in the slightest...
The moral of the story is chose your cancer wisely!
But he hasn’t been heard from for nearly two weeks now.
Yeah. Very worrisome.
I thought he was in a couple of days last week. Am I crazy or just way too busy to remember when it was that he was there?
Oh for Pete’s Sake!
This man is a year plus into a diagnosis that usually has an expectancy of less than a year.
Knock it off.
I had a variety of Chemo treatments for Stage III Stomach Cancer. Ten weeks of bi-weekly infusion with about the strongest mix possible of the F.L.O.T. four chemo cocktail they give for gastric type cancer, stomach removal and then because of strong damaging side effects from the FLOT, pill chemo for 12 weeks with a whole different set of side effects.
I had days I could not travel outside of my home. I had days I almost could not walk.
Killed the cancer in me however.
