I also thought that he was in at the earlier part of the week.
He wasn’t in early this week, but I swear, he was in for a day or two last week. I think 2 days.
cigars are not inhaled, there are puffed yes cigars can cause oral cancer, but not lung cancer.
Feb 2 was the last time he did the program.

Cigars are not inhaled. Rush was a cigarette smoker. Even then don’t be brain washed into think all lung cancers are a result of smoking. Just as many people who have never smoked get lung cancer.
Rush himself gave an update last week and said that he was at second-base, rounding to third and could see home. I took it as a positive path to remission but maybe he was allegorically referring to “home” as “heaven.”
Did you check out the authors of that study?
No reported conflicts of interest?
Snort.
I had that same thought...................
We’re all around electronic equipment for our entire lives. Plus, we are exposed to a number of other radiation sources, such as solar radiation.
Furthermore, cancers caused by radiation are usually skin cancers (caused by UV exposure) or blood cancers. Exposure to radon is associated with lung cancer because the radon is inhaled into the lungs.
With cigars (or any smoked tobacco product), a mixture of carcinogens is brought into the body, where they have contact with mucous membranes and are absorbed into epithelial cells. Even if the cigar smoke is only intentionally inhaled into the mouth, a considerable portion of it is still inhaled into the lungs through the smoke that the cigar emits into the surrounding air while it is burning.
Actually there has been at least one study that shows that cigar smokers have a longer life-expectancy than non-cigar-smokers.
Like all statistics this one is probably flawed too. The cigar smokers I know are all pretty well off which means, among other things, they (we) probably get better medical care. I belong to a cigar club which has about 200 members (or it did before the Covid nonsense which somewhat curtailed club activities). I don't know for sure but it seems to me that about a third of the members are either doctors or lawyers.

Hannity, Tucker, Mathews, Don Jr., etc should organize a Living Tribute To Rush NOW, while he is healthy enough to attend. Do it in S FL, huge outdoor area, let us fans gather and thank him together while he is there up on stage.
Rush will say, “Don’t do it, I don’t want it!” because he is a humble guy and doesn’t like the attention. But do it anyway!!!. Do it anyway. He’ll love it and will be there. Put him onstage in a big throne, in an air conditioned clear booth.
Let us fans all show Rush what he means to us, while he is healthy enough to see and appreciate us! We need to say thanks and see him when we do.
1,000,000 will attend. I’ll be Trump won’t miss it, either.
Oh, there is no doubt that frequency of use and quantity used play a big part.
What I was looking for was a head-to-head comparison that would control for those factors. I didn’t find one; the study I linked was the closest I could find.
In any case, it is clear that cigars *do* contain the carcinogens that promote the development of oral, throat, and lung cancers. And since spontaneous lung cancer is rare as compared to induced lung cancer, it is highly probable that Rush’s cigar use, and before that, cigarette use, resulted in the lung cancer.
By all means, continue your cigar smoking if you want. Just be aware of the risks, that’s all.
Personally, I can’t stand cigars. Even a whiff of cigar odor from someone who might be quite a distance from me is enough to make me nauseous. Cigarettes don’t have that effect (but I avoid cigarette smoke too).
GREAT IDEA!......................
“He wasn’t in early this week, but I swear, he was in for a day or two last week. I think 2 days.”
I thought so, too, but he last hosted the program on Monday, February 2nd (Monday of last week).
The hatred from the Left will be through the roof, when this man passes on.
Yes, that’s why he often says while holding a piece of paper, “holding in my formerly nicotine stained fingers”...
And cancer cases seem to be growing.
Why don’t you just Tweet him on Twitter? He’s responded to me before.
As a 35-year electronics and radio-frequency engineer, who actually MEASURES the emissions from my company's electronic equipment and is responsible to the government for these measurements, I BEG YOU, BEG YOU to stop saying stuff like this.
RF does not cause cancer.
I repeat, RF does not cause cancer. Anyone who says different is deluded, or selling something, and is therefore a liar.
