Pennsylvania also makes good maple syrup, but you have to go there to get it.
So, now cancel culture has moved on to icons of successful black people. Yes, I know Aunt Jemima was not a real person. But she’s a symbol of successful black lady chefs. And now, she’s cancelled.
This cancel culture is so weird. They’ve been trying to cancel native Americans for years, and now they are moving on to cancel other minorities. (But I bet they won’t cancel dysfunctional black criminals.)
Once they have canceled everything, what is left? I suppose, severe punishment for anyone who dares have an independent thought?

They removed the Mammy Two Shoes character from Tom and Jerry years ago.
Well they were successful in removing American Indians from the various food brands so now they are removing blacks.
Soon the packaging will be so Lily White that in 10-20 years we will begin to hear howls and moans because they are not “inclusive”.

I think the whole thing is stupid but just call it Jemima and drop the “aunt” part which for some reason people think is racist. Or call it Dr.Jemima and say she has a degree in pancakeology

Because the modern "woke" philosophy is so twisted that removing the brand name created and made wildly successful by an extremely talented, intelligent, and groundbreaking Black woman is somehow now a good idea.
The Davis Milling Company became a great success in large part due to the sales and marketing skill of Nancy Green. Ms. Green was born into slavery but in spite of all the difficulties she faced in her life she used her talents and intelligence to help launch a wildly successful business.
Ms. Green's life should be studied by young people as an inspiration, not hidden from them. PepsiCo should have used their brand to promote her story, not pretend that it never happened.
PepsiCo should also be chastised for their apparent lie about how they came up with Pearl Milling Company. Early advertisements show that the company was The Davis Milling Company.
Aunties “syrup” sucked anyhow.
