So, now cancel culture has moved on to icons of successful black people. Yes, I know Aunt Jemima was not a real person. But she’s a symbol of successful black lady chefs. And now, she’s cancelled.

This cancel culture is so weird. They’ve been trying to cancel native Americans for years, and now they are moving on to cancel other minorities. (But I bet they won’t cancel dysfunctional black criminals.)

Once they have canceled everything, what is left? I suppose, severe punishment for anyone who dares have an independent thought?

Yes, I know Aunt Jemima was not a real person.

But she was. The trademark came from the work of Nancy Green who performed as a salesperson and living trademark for the Davis Milling Company. Ms. Green was a talented sales person, and product demonstrator. It has been reported that her work at the Chicago World's Fair launched the sales of the brand.

At that moment she had the selling and influencing ability as great as that of any famous modern day product salesperson or influencer. Her work created an extremely valuable trademark and marketing campaign. Her use of a trade name in her sales work is no different than the way performers today use stage names, like Prince or Jay-Z.
