A win for religious liberty and freedom of association.

We all know and understand the risk. Let us make our own decisions.

Roberts voted with the conservatives this time I see, as it was a 6-3 decision. How quaint!!!!

Roberts definitely joined the majority so he could write the ruling opinion. He will be doing this a lot I fear.

My church, in California, has been meeting face to face for several weeks. The local Sheriff (small town) has said “screw Newsom” on more than one occasion.

The U.S. Supreme Court in a split decision Friday night ruled that houses of worship in California may hold indoor services at 25% capacity, giving a partial win to groups fighting the state’s coronavirus restrictions, according to reports.

The high court issued the orders in two cases where plaintiffs had sued over restrictions meant to slow the spread of the virus.

The state will be permitted to restrict singing and chanting during services, the court said.

Justices Neil Gorsuch and Clarence Thomas reportedly said they would have lifted all restrictions on churches while the court’s three liberal justices dissented.

This was a 2-1-2-1-3 split.

Gorsuch and Thomas would have given the churches everything that they wanted.

Alito almost completely agreed, but would have delayed the start of the injunction.

Barrett and Kavanaugh gave the churches everything that they asked for except for singing and chanting, unless the record could show that the State was treating singing outside of church differently.

Roberts was being his typical straddling the fence, clown self.

The three leftist goons would have given the State everything that they wanted.

The swift sword of justice protecting American rights after only a year of them being trampled on without the judiciary taking a bit of notice.

Don’t expect anything high-minded from those nine people.

Americans don’t like being deprived of their God or their guns.

Everyone can pray, but a church is fellowship and a meeting of the minds and souls.

Over coffee and cookies after the service, people get together and make plans, share ideas, etc.
