Dobbs will remain under contract with Fox News Media but it's highly unlikely he will ever appear on the networks again.

This “boomer” pulled the plug on working 3 years ago when I turned 70. I had planned to work that long and a change of leadership at the head of the organization I worked for, made it an easier departure than I was expecting. I still miss the folks I worked with and supervised.
I really enjoy Lou. He’s a refreshing journalist in a sea of propagandists.

Just remember, if Fox picks up more new viewers from the left than they lose from the right, they win. It’s going to take time to know the outcome. Also depends on the actions of competitors.

Very true. I’m not surprised they’re taking Dobbs off. Assuming this report is true, I suppose he will remain with Fox due to some contract provisions that would make it disadvantageous for Fox to sever him immediately. The next best thing from Fox’s perspective would be to shut Dobbs up, even if they have to keep paying him for awhile. The top brass wouldn’t want Dobbs continuing to talk about how immigration is destroying the country, and about how Trump was electorally railroaded, etc. Lou’s unabashed pro-America voice no doubt sounds to the Murdoch’s too much like Trump’s.
Just remember.....if FixItNews has to get their viewership from the left, then I really don’t give a fig about their viewership numbers.
Stu Varney and Lew Dobbs, two excellent reasons to watch Fox Business. Lew got the axe today. One wonders if Varney is far behind.
Time for a new conservative network or maybe OANN can hire some of these Fox rejects.

Another who has disappeared from Fox Business is Varney’s Brit buddy, Ashley Webster. And, it appears Susan Li is being groomed to replace Stuart when he retires. She, btw is very capable. Maria B seems secure in early a.m., but they were having her “audition” (so it seems) on that 4pm (Pacific) Fox News slot that has opened up with a different host each week - Kilmeade, then Maria and this week, Trey Gowdy. Interesting if they keep that going — I kinda like.
That’s not what they should be doing if they want viewers back. Even if they never watched Dobbs, FNC viewers knew that he was on their side.
The first showing was a rerun of last night.
Banning kicked off his show last night with a repudiation of green. I Immediately turned it off for good. Dobbs never waffled. Like that.
That is drivel. It’s not age that is why people are given shows or have shows taken from them. Check out his audience ratings and compare to any CNN 45 year old.
It’s just as despicable to poach someone’s job for a younger person as it is to poach it for a black, brown, yellow, female, transvestite, gay, lesbian, Muslim or any other grievance group. IOW jobs picks & retention are supposed to be merit based.
Then imagine my experience where I had 18 bosses in 6 years, then 7 bosses in 3 years on another job.
Silicon Valley is brutal. They really strongly prefer their indentured H1B servants.
I love the Pandemic War Room...I watch it whenever I can.
