Democrats have talked about packing the Supreme Court and seeking to end lifetime appointments of justices. Now a new commission under the Biden administration will be looking at the subject of court reforms. Indeed, President Joe Biden's White House is staffing the panel, which will examine reforms to the nation's top court and the federal judiciary, Politico reported. "The president remains committed to an expert study of the role and debate over reform of the court and will have more to say in the coming weeks," a White House official said in a statement.

I actually left the job and started my own business in direct competition with my former employer and took most of their business in my area after refusing relocation. I had a good business for twenty years or so until technology changes wiped out nearly all of the market for my services. By then my former employer had been swallowed up but after my first few years they actually had someone stop by to talk about the possibility of my becoming a dealer for them.
At this point the trajectory of the USA seems very similar to that of my old employer. The company had started in the 1890s and had been wildly successful for nearly a century until it went into a death spiral. This country is headed the same way and I am a terminal patient already six months past the end of the prognosis I was given in 2018 but it looks as if I may have already outlived the USA.
what reform btw? Its not leftist or silent enough?
Folks, you had better understand, the Left are going to get everything they ever wanted. They will never be out of power again. And that’s a fact.
You could probably do a mic drop at the end of your post.
Well done good and faithful servant. Go out on your own terms. Glad to call you a FRiend.
Like asking Ford to stay behind during the Fall of Saigon.
Where were the alternate slates of Electors with the imprimatur of both that state's legislature and signed off by that state's Governor? More to the point, the House and the Senate must both vote in the majority to throw out the electors of any challenged state's slate.
The fact that 1 Congressman and 1 Senator, can object to every electoral slate (50 states + DC) is not Constitutionally not enough to actually disqualify that state's slate. Got to have both the House & Senate votes.
So anyone who 'thinks' U.S.C. 12 permitted the VP to act extra-constitutionally is talking out of their southern extremity (not a curse word, Mr. Jim). As it was, Pence approved the 1+1 objection to the AZ elector slate just before everyone was moved down to the subway, and he approved the 1+1 objection to the PA elector slate after they returned, rejecting enormous pressure to simply ignore the PA challenge after the protestor tours of the Capitol.
So it demands him to knowingly commit a crime by knowingly certifying a fraud?
That is what is being claimed.
He personally knew and had access to the knowledge that a fraud had been committed.
And what does it mean when you are aware of a crime and facilitate it?
It wasn’t extra constitutional to kick it back.
Especially since only the state legislatures can alter state election laws, and they didn’t.
Courts and sec state did against the law.
When you are aware of a crime, don’t facilitate it.
Yup.
Thanks, Pence!
My apology for the poor choice of words >>> Shut up! <<<.
Using the term >>> Good grief! <<< would have been a more suitable comment.
25th Amendment: Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress.
Pence could have resigned... bringing the proceedings to an abrupt halt.
“when the democrat party gets swept out of all rural areas and outer suburbs in America and becomes a coastal urban beehive party that’s supported mainly by left-wing extremists in major cities.”
I thought we already had that. Those “urban” places are where most of the rigging happened: Atlanta, Philadephia, Detroit.
Absolutely. They have horribly stacked the deck in their favor.
Do NOT ever think there will be elections of any consequence again.
Federal Courts and the clown “judges” running them are greatest threat to American freedom. Hop Sing Jo Xiden wants to only make it worse with so called “reform”. I hope his supporters are paying attention. They ****ed up bigtime putting that Nazi pedophile in office when they already had one of the best presidents ever in office. MORONS!!!!! Whoopi Goldberg can kiss my @$$.
It is not cowardice. IMO it is lack of reference. We have absolutely no idea what to do when forced to live under a totalitarian government at what was a moment’s notice.
We knew what would likely come once President Trump appeared to lose, but did any of us think it would arrive at breakneck speed? We barely had time to catch our breath from the loss.
I will leave alot unsaid here, but trust is a HUGE issue.
We need to have some RATS die in the senate that have Republican governors who can assign their seat to a Republican.
Not that it will really matter, considering the number of RINOS.
“November, 2022 may be too late to save our Republic if the communist push continues unabated at this blistering pace”
I suspect when gas is $50/gal and meat is no longer available in regular grocery stores, you will see some pushback. Most people do not support the extreme agenda that lurks behind the grandfatherly facade.
The VP can’t throw out Electoral ballots. The Constitution says the VP opens the envelopes that contain the ballots, nothing about the VP rejecting ballots.
Congress votes on whether to accept or reject ballots, and they did exactly that this January. It’s up to the states and to Congress to resolve disputes about electors and ballots, the VP has no power in the matter.
"So it demands him to knowingly commit a crime by knowingly certifying a fraud? That is what is being claimed. He personally knew and had access to the knowledge that a fraud had been committed. And what does it mean when you are aware of a crime and facilitate it?"
Ok, honest questions. Whatever you have been told the role of the VP is at the Meeting of Electors, I have just told you the truth -- his functions are Constitutionally mandated as I described. And he discharged his Constitutional obligations exactly as the Constitution prescribes.
"It wasn’t extra constitutional to kick it back."
To "kick it back" to the states? But that is exactly what he did, the VP acknowledged the 1+1 objections and away both houses went to deliberate. It is strictly up to the Senate and the House which Constitutionally BOTH MUST validate the 1+1 objection by a majority. There is no Constitutional rule for the VP to say, "I don't agree with the fact that the House failed to disqualify this state's slate of Electors."
"Especially since only the state legislatures can alter state election laws, and they didn’t."
Which is not even remotely the purpose or the presentation of January 6.
"Courts and sec state did against the law. When you are aware of a crime, don’t facilitate it."
And yet when there were faithless electors on Jan. 6, 2017, we pursued them in the Courts to the point where this very website celebrated SCOTUS 9-0 decision in Chiafalo v. Washington that punished faithless electors in 2016.
Where does it say he must knowingly certify a fraud?
Again, knowingly certifying a fraud that he was personally aware of is a crime.
Where does it say he must certify a fraud?
>>My apology for the poor choice of words >>> Shut up! <<<.
Hey..thanx for that. We are on the same team.
