I had this discussion a few months back with a someone that had no problem with generalissimo cuomo assuming emergency powers and taking away rights. I told this person that eventually climate change will be an emergency and used as an excuse to ration your gasoline and electricity

Things were just fine in the 1940s-1960s when power plants belched black smoke and cities were filled with SMOG.
