"It might be a good idea for President Biden to call a climate emergency," the New York Democrat told MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow.
"He can do many, many things under the emergency powers ... that he could do without legislation," the Senate leader said.
"Trump used this emergency for a stupid wall, which wasn't an emergency. But if there ever was an emergency, climate is one," Schumer added.
For the first time in nearly a decade, Democrats control the Senate, House and White House. But most legislation still has to pass the 60-vote hurdle. Schumer -- who hasn’t committed to leaving the filibuster in place permanently -- told MSNBC that his party was looking into ways to include climate change legislation and other parts of Biden’s Build Back Better plan in budget reconciliation. Reconciliation eliminates the filibuster on certain budgetary legislation.
"There may be things that are reconcilable," Schumer said about the ability to include climate rules in budget legislation.
Reports this week predict the Biden administration will take further executive action on the matter Wednesday. A memo obtained by Reuters revealed a new round of forthcoming executive orders to combat climate change domestically and elevate it to a national security threat

They've destroyed the election process in this country, so they can't be afraid they're going to be voted out of office.
If I had to guess, I would say it appears they think Trump is going to organize an effort to take back the country for the voters. How would that work?
It’s insanity to us but to Schumer and his ilk, declaring a climate emergency will be a way to finally control every aspect of our lives, forever.
Except for perhaps zombies, madness doesn't run in groups.
Schumer is working for us, if we can start campaigning and stop lying to each other with conspiracy theories and hysterical exaggerations. Imagine the control that he’s trying to set precedents for.

At first I wanted to say “garbage in, garbage out”. But that doesn’t capture the true nature of the scam.
Better to say “deliberately misleading data in, deliberately misleading conclusions out.” That sums it all up...but it’s not very catchy.

This might be the worst thing Schumer’s ever said and that’s saying something.
All Butt-Head needs to do is to get an appropriation to help states switch from their current complex tax systems to a modest, even consumption tax on all retail goods and services. Not even a VAT. Conservation achieved without Wokey McWokerson, massive statist interventions.
No need to listen to Schumer.

I called this one six months ago. I said the next Democrat would use emergency powers for climate and other leftist lonny causes.
My measuring stick is Liberty Island in New York. It’s perfect because we have photos from the late 1800s forward to today. Also, the island sits only a few feet above the water. And to my eye since the 1800s the water level there hasn’t budged one inch. It certainly hasn’t changed enough to be visible.

Things were just fine in the 1940s-1960s when power plants belched black smoke and cities were filled with SMOG.
Then in 1970 came the call to clean up as we were entering a NEW ICE AGE CAUSED BY POLLUTION, so they said. I believe it was just to scare everyone into cleaning up.
In fifteen years we cleaned up the air. Then, with all that sunlight hitting the earth everything began to warm up(they said).
So they began to scream about GLO-BULL Warming and for an excuse they claimed it was CO2 and methane that was going to do us in!
THIRTY YEARS AGO our company sent our chemists and engineers to a US government conference on Global Warming!
As the government agent was telling them how CO2 and methane was going to heat up the earth, one engineer asked a question.
“How much pollution do humans make as compared to the recent Pinatubo Volcano eruption?”
Government “scientist” said..”About 5%.”
Most of the people broke into laughter, got up and left right then.
That was thirty years ago.
I have believed and said all along that this rather dubious pandemic is really a cover for some half-crazed elitist scheme to test out their climate change theories with our economy held hostage as part of the deal. There’s an inner core group who know the real motivation and an outer helpful idiot group who may also have figured it out but are playing along with the life-threatening pandemic cover story.
There was and is a real virus, but it was engineered to spread like the common cold, and infect many thousands of times as many people as it would actually kill. The death toll was always inflated by reporting all cases upon autopsy with the virus present, whether or not it was the main or even secondary cause of death.
Somewhere a small group of conspirators has met on a regular basis to oversee the program, which as anyone can see is designed to reduce vehicular traffic and almost totally remove air travel, with the goal being a demonstrable change in climate trends that can then be used to justify further lockdowns “because now we see that this also helps the climate emergency.”
The potential for further fraud and mischief in that scenario is considerable. Just because we might hit some natural variation of temporary cooling is no proof of anything in regard to their climate change hysteria.
Also the people were never informed nor consulted, perhaps the voters have a different view than these elites about destroying the economy as an experiment.
I just hope the proof of this explanation comes out sooner rather than later, so that the conspirators can be identified and punished.
