Joe Biden's goal of seeing 100 million doses of coronavirus vaccine injected within his first 100 days in office is "absolutely" achievable, top US scientist Anthony Fauci said Sunday, days before he is to become the new president's chief advisor on Covid-19.
"The feasibility of his goal is absolutely clear, there’s no doubt about it," Fauci, the best-known face of the government's fight against the deadly virus, told NBC's "Meet the Press."
"That can be done," said Fauci, an infectious disease specialist who also has advised President Donald Trump.

I’ve heard the same thing about the states..from physicians in NYC on Doctor Radio.
The vaccines arrive at the states and no one seems to know what to do.
Doctor Radio physicians seem to think it will be turned over to the federal gov’t.

U.S. COVID Vaccine Rollout Nears 1 Million Doses Per Day
Close to a million doses -- over 951,000, to be more exact -- made their way into the arms of Americans in the past 24 hours, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported Wednesday.
That number is likely to jump quickly after the federal government on Tuesday gave states the OK to vaccinate anyone over 65 and said it would release all the doses of vaccine it has available for distribution.
MinorityRepublican is right that the states should be handing this over to the local pharmacies to distribute ASAP. The sooner the vaccines get out there, the sooner people are protected. It’s ridiculous to see some states sitting on 75% of their vaccine supply at this stage of the game.
